I could not be more disappointed and upset with this business. I bought three bed sets on the same day. One King Sealy Adjustable bed One King Mattress and box springs and One Queen Mattress and box springs. Needless to say, I spent quit a lot of money. First, they couldn't deliver my bed which was the most important for two weeks. The other two beds were to be delivered a week after purchase. So I had to arrange my schedule for two separate deliveries a week a part. When it came time for delivery for the first two beds, which were to go upstairs, I met the delivery men. Showed them exactly where I wanted each bed to go. With very detailed instructions. The driver did not speak English well so I went outside and told the other delivery man exactly what I had told the first. His response was "I'm not going inside" Like I was crazy for thinking he would! I had to leave so my daughter came over and stayed to let them bring the beds inside and lock up behind them. Minutes after I left my daughter texted me to ask if I told them it was ok to put the beds in my room. I called her and she said they had literally dumped them in my room and took off. They were gone so fast I couldn't catch them and make them come back. When I got back home, they had piled all of the beds in my downstairs bedroom on their sides!!! The split king box springs which are two twins, they had put upstairs. They did not even try to take the king mattress upstairs where I had told them to put it. They also didn't even try to take the queen mattress or box springs upstairs! I had not even showed them my downstairs bedroom or ever suggested they put them in my room! They claimed the king size mattress wouldn't fit upstairs. They didn't even try to take them upstairs!!! Now I can't even get into my room. These two huge mattresses and box springs have been pushed into my room with no consideration of how I am supposed to get in and get my clothes. P There had previously been queen size beds upstairs so I know they would have fit! When I called the saleslady Janna, she suggested I call corporate and "raise hell" My response to her was I didn't buy them from corporate and I was not going to spend the evening on the phone calling around. I told her she needed to call corporate and she told me she would. I never heard back from her. I called multiple times over the next few days. No answer. I had no opportunity to go into the store until today. This entire experience had been a total nightmare. I cannot even get into my bedroom and have had nowhere to sleep for the last week except my couch!!! All this after spending a huge amount of money in these beds!!!!! read more

I was recently in the market to purchase a new mattress -the one i had was nice but it was in need of replacing (besides, I wanted a bigger bed). So, after many trips around town to places like Haynes (with pushy salespeople) to Mattress Discounters (where they completely ignore you), I decided to walk into Mattress Warehouse. I had only previously stopped in for a mattress cover for a friend so they could store their spare bed in a bed bag. After deciding they had good service the last time, I figured I would stop in and see the selection of beds they had available. I met Kevin, a very kind salesman that was very knowledgable about the various types of beds available. After doing a test to see which bed fit my needs best, Kevin was kind enough to show me various beds he had available in store for purchase that would fit me and my sleeping needs best. It did not take me very long to find what I needed - and within my price range- and after only a short time in store, I walked out with a new bed to take home. I was not only happy to find someone who was knowledgable about their inventory but was also kind enough to go through the many types of beds as well as help me find the one that best fit my needs. I would completely recommend Kevin and Mattress Warehouse to anyone who is looking for a perfect bed within their price needs. And, I can honestly say since having the bed, I have had not only good nights sleep but I have not woken up with any pains/discomforts. The manager sat at the desk on the computer the whole time while I sampled mattresses myself. I did not get the impression that they wanted my business. Purchased a mattress set and realized almost immediately that it wasn't what we wanted. Went in the following morning to cancel the purchase. Mattresses were never delivered/taken possession of. It is now 6 weeks and 3 days after the order was canceled and my money has not yet been returned despite multiple phone calls, emails to corporate and promises to hear back from the district manager. I am now working with my bank to get the money returned. Hancock Village is a nice store with friendly staff, but their return procedures are outrageous. My wife and I decided to purchase a new mattress after we received our tax refund. We settled on a middle-price Tempurpedic model. After settling on a model we both liked, we spent one day shopping different stores and experienced different results. First we went to Sleepys, where the salesperson was not knowledgeable. We knew the model we liked, as well as the specifications - it was easy to tell she did not. She was desperate and began offering things, and at one point was rude to my wife as we walked out. We knew then that they would not have our business. We proceeded to Mattress Discounters in Willow Lawn, as it had good yelp reviews. Their mattresses were somewhat more expensive. After driving all over Richmond for a good deal, we decided to call Mattress Warehouse to see what they had to offer. We didn't want to drive the extra 30 minutes if it was not worth it. I am glad we did. From the get go, Wudu (the sales associate or manager, I think he was just promoted) took care of us. Several add ons were located at other area stores, he took care of our next day delivery and gave us a deal we couldn't refuse. After several bad and mediocre visits to other stores, it was nice to deal with someone who did not pressure us, as well as having knowledge of the product. My wife and I are people who appreciate great customer service, and Wudu did not disappoint. He gave us a great deal, as well as making us feel important and taken care of. Of the 6 mattress retailers we visited in the area, this was by far the best. We both said we would recommend this location 10/10 times to our friends, it is worth the drive. Ask for Wudu! read more

We bought a twin mattress for our daughter who had been complaining about hers. The sales associate was very helpful & friendly in showing us the twin options and letting our daughter climb all over them. We placed our order the day after the day of the week that they typically put in the order, so he said the mattress would likely be at the store in about a week and a half. Four days later we got the call that the mattress was in. The salesman carried the mattress to our car and loaded it for us. We were there less than a minute for the pick-up. After visiting Sleep Number, I decided to pop into my local Mattress Warehouse. I was only planning to look around. But, after working with Wudu for over an hour, I was completely sold on an Aireloom mattress. When Wudu couldn't answer certain questions I had, he actually called the Aireloom rep, who spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone going over the product.
