They basically responded that they'd paid off Synchrony and that Synchrony would be paying me what I'd paid. After not receiving $ I call Synchrony. I've called near daily for over a month, recording all attempts to connect with someone there. After putting in my info I'm transferred to collections and then I either hear a long continuous beep or a recording tells me to leave a message, which I have, no response. Why collections? they owe me. The last 2 emails I sent to Mattress Warehouse re: the issue went unanswered. My attorney says she doubtful that Mattress Warehouse paid anything and advised we proceed. So, Mattress Warehouse can't even follow up on a fraudulent transaction, here I go on a probably-gonna-be-a-stupidly-long trial. Lastly, I noticed the inventory tag when the expensive mattress began falling apart.

Overtired and grouchy, we tried several mattress stores and could never find the "right" feel. I felt like goldilocks. Finally, I walked into The Bed Room Store and tried several mattresses in both of their stores. Initially, I stayed away from the "expensive luxury mattresses". Frustrated with myself, I tried the Vispring and it was heavenly. This was the best investment in myself I have ever enjoyed. I sleep soundly and wake up without an ache or a pain - It was worth every single dollar. I found the "FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH". We decided that we need to replace all of our mattresses with these wonderful mattresses. My husband like the Harold Spinks mattress so I agreed to purchase 1 of them. We now have 3 wonderful rooms with the best mattresses. We also purchased a Downwright comforter and duvet cover and enjoy it all year. All of the staff are so wonderful to work with and feel like family to us. We highly recommend shopping in this magnificent store. When it was delivered, it was soaking wet on the bottom third of the mattress with a disgusting water line across the pillow top. The delivery driver immediately contacted the owner. The owner didn't call to address the concern. I had to call the following day. The owner was not apologetic. He only stated that he was out of town and had no idea how this could happen. He blamed the manufacturer, but I blame the store I ordered it from. Apparently, they do not check mattresses to ensure that they are up to their standards before delivery. He said he would order a new mattress to be here in a week. He offered no alternative for the unsanitary mattress sitting in our bedroom. Meanwhile, we had a box fan on the mattress in an attempt to dry it out quicker. I pushed on finding a solution to get the gross mattress out of my house. Only then did the owner offer to give us a mattress intended for another customer. Until that time, we had a gross flood mattress in our house (Monday - Thursday). Not exactly what I call a luxury. You've been warned.

I was upset, and afraid bc my rent payment got eaten up by the unexpected $200 payment. as I tried to apologize for my part of the difficult conversation, Katie was EXTREMELY passive aggressive, and then she hung up on me! I was trying to take accountability for MY part in getting upset and letting it get worse with the shoddy customer service skills. Wow. (Which wouldn't have happened if people knew how to LISTEN to a customer when they are upset. Interrupting them and being rude only escalates a frustrated, scared person.) Zero compassion. And zero accountability on their parts. Katie actually used my sincere apology against me to make me feel belittled AS she hung up on me. SMH. Plus they added on an extra 5% discount because my wife is a public teacher. We purchased three of their top-of-the-line Harmony pillows and a seat cushion. One shortcoming is that they didn't/don't keep all accessory product in stock at the Showroom itself. Because two of the pillows were in the newest 'tall' thickness (recommended because of our height and way we sleep) we had to have them shipped directly to us. No worries: they were for Christmas presents and everything arrived well in time. I add my review now because I had to use their 90-day satisfaction warranty after purchase. After a couple weeks of use the taller thickness was causing me neck pain. The Showroom wasn't able to just let me exchange products, but through customer service via telephone we were able to successfully get the product exchanged: However it was a month's-long hassle because I had to call them twice. After two weeks of non response following first call they said they had a slight delay post-holiday getting the replacement part back in stock. After my second call they sent an entirely new pillow at the 'normal' height right away and paid for return shipping, too. A couple weeks after that the 'normal height' pillow insert arrived again out of the blue--which they just told us to keep. Most likely they crossed actions from both calls due to internal system tracking or communication issues. Or maybe they went the extra mile. LOL I was inclined to give that a three-star experience. Yet I move my star rating up a notch because the issue was ultimately resolved and the other products we bought were a great fit from the get-go. Everybody in the family loves their Purple products! (I'm very happy with the pillow height now-- yet they said if the 'normal height' still didn't work for me to please let them know and I could try the 'low height' option.) We were hoping to get a box spring to go with the mattress but the man said they do t sell them which was disappointing. It was a bit untidy but we were able to accomplish our goal. The price quoted to us was good. We will probably order one of the mattresses but will have to wait a couple of months. We would recommend better signage to find the place
