They returned the cheque and told me the cheque should be payable to Noel Cullen, which I thought was strange. I wrote them the cheque and asked for a receipt. The receipt they gave me didn't have a VAT number on it or any reference to VAT, just a signature from the installer. About a month ago the boiler broke down and wouldn't heat up. I called them and they told me they would send someone the following day to fix it. Nobody turned up and I called them again and they told me they were busy but they would have someone fix it in the next few days. I waited a week and again nobody turned up. I then called them a third time, however when I started to complain the man I was speaking to was rude and hung up on me. I rang back a few times later that day, but this time there was no answer. Since then, I have called them a number of times, but each time they tell me they are busy or they will send someone out or they are rude and simply hang up. I am still waiting for someone to turn up. It seems they keep you hanging on in the false hope that someone will eventually turn up. It also sounds like they don't have an office as each time I call them, the call sounds as it is diverted to a mobile and in the background it sounds as if they are outside or driving in a car. It also seems to be the same man who answers the phone every time as if the business is a one-man band. I have suffered without central heating or hot water for a month and it looks like I will have to contact another company and spend more money to fix the problem. Anybody considering getting a boiler installed, please avoid these guys like the plague and don't learn the hard way like I did. There are too many red flags and they really don't seem to have any respect for their customers.
