I plead with you if you are looking for a divorce lawyer.. DO NOT GO TO THIS LAW FIRM. Mr Sanchez will take NO responsibility for his mistakes. He only asked me back to save face but never change his character. His team seemed nice enough but that's the only thing you will get. If you have a document stating that this is law and your protected, he still will not protect you. He will make you feel that you need to do as he says. The entire time I was with him I had to be "on guard" and that's a horrible feeling when you pay for his service. You DO NOT want this lawyer. My mistake, DO NOT LET IT BE YOURS. Hopefully I can help a few people before they have given him any money. 2 years later and $$$$$ later... still not fully divorced and he never asked me if I can do this. He demanded that I do it and it felt like he was on my ex wife's side, never defending my rights. So again. Find a different lawyer, this one has no respect for the fathers or what the AG HAS TO SAY. If you would like to know more about my encounter please feel free to ask. And I will give you prof, not theory's. This was my experience when dealing with this law firm. He also removed him self from my case because I was asking him to fix his mistake, but justified it as a failure to communicate. I called at least twice a week for 1 year and I was the one constantly asking if I should do anything. DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRM AND IF YOU HAVE HIM, and FINDING YOUR SELF IN THE SAME SITUATION. Stand up and let this place know. Oh and one of his assents is also tracking this place. So I know he's going to see it. That's how scared they are.

After contacting the King Law firm, and talking with Mr. King's legal assistant I was asked to write an email describing my entire situation. I took the time to write an email explaining everything and returned it back to her. During the following week, Mr. Jordan was currently in a different county working on a different case. The following week, however, I had called numerous times to simply confirm if he was willing to represent me or not. His legal assistant forwarded my email again. I called them again at the end of the week with still no success. I'd expect a simple refusal rather than this sort of intentional miscommunication. As more than two weeks have passed, I still haven't received any kind of response. Apparently Mr. King or his legal assistant are simply too busy to even explain that they're unable to represent their clients because of how busy they are. When contacting the King Law Firm, it seems you can expect to be left hanging. I wouldn't even bother to contact them as they don't appear to have the experience to manage their own workload, or the time to even turn you down with an apology. If you were looking for a professional attorney run by a professional staff that is capable of handling your case in the Rio Grande Valley, I would definitely look elsewhere.

Horrible experience was taken for 5500 dollars and the guy didn't file anything he said he did…read morethrough the actual court. Brought in another attorney had me pay him for mediation and then pay mediator also which is not customary. I guess he doesn't have the confidence in his own ability to complete and close my case. Charged me another 1000 for discovery only to find out it was also never filed through the court. The opposing party violated the temp order and again he filed nothing through the court that would prevent them from continuing to break and violate the order. I'm supposed to be his friend I'd hate to not know him. Provided no work logs to show where all the money I paid went upon request. Much better attorneys in Mcallen for your hard earned money. Definitely some ethical concerns here. Save yourself some frustration and money go elsewhere. If I could leave a zero or negative star rating I definitely would. I had to get another attorney to fix and finish my case.

First, Fabian Guerrero was brought into the case without consent (found out consent was needed…read morethrough the state bar). Initial lawyer just said, "I'm bringing in Fabian." During depositions, he was so bored, he was playing games on his cell phone. Not reliable, the lawyer we hired was waiting for Fabian to work during trial and Fabian showed up after the jury had already ruled. Our lawyer lost the case and him relying on Fabian was also wrong. Fabian showed up with a smile , clueless of course, adding salt to the wound after the case was lost. We paid the office $7,000 retainer, paid expenses as needed, then paid another $6,000 the week of trial. We weren't expecting free work. Fabian then said he'd appeal for about $14,000. But he was so useless on the initial case. So did they lose purposely to charge more money? If there was a disagreement between the lawyers , why take it out on the client? So many unanswered questions. This is what the RGV has to offer!! Bravo!! (Sarcasm) Zero stars would be appropriate.

She spent more days because this lawyer did not did his job plus stayed with our money. Plus she put my sister at deportation risk telling her it was okay to sign a paper stating that she was citizen when she's not! He never besides answer phone calls and we were told by his office to pay my mom's bond with cash at his office, when everyone knows you can only pay bonds with money orders and to the judge. He certainly wanted more money. I don't recommend him at all.
