Before you enter the automatic wash, the staff manually sprays down your car to remove the heavy dirt and grime and clean the areas and crevices that an automatic wash might miss. That first step is priceless and gives you results that feel much closer to a hand wash. $19-22 for an incomplete wash. I still left with soap all over my car and my car was maybe 50% dry and it was still dirty. The water they use is obviously recycled water because the smell through my vents was horrible. I'll be sticking to Hashi/Pataos Car Wash at least they power wash and quick scrub before entering the car wash. read more

$22 car wash was horrible. Our black car wash was covered in what we believed was the wax . Spotted all over the hood and top of car. They don't use enough water to rinse . Dryer is just as bad . We had to come home and rinse the car down and dry. read more

Heck nah bruh! I was so loyal to this place for years on end. But after this recent "upgrade" they jacked the wazoo out of these prices. Like you think I'm srsly going to pay $19 minimum for a machine car wash? Think again. Don't waste your time, wiki has way better options to self wash then here which adds to be about $8-$12 on average, and my new favorite is papas car wash. Mo bettah. Holy moly, new upgrade, new price higher Then the Wailuku car wash under the bridge and it doesn't come with air freshener or cloth to wipe down your vehicle and if you have a brand new car when you enter the car wash it's your car's gonna get beaten up whack around swish, swish, slap slap and might get damaged before you drive your car out. I used to go to this place a lot but not anymore. Staff were friendly and helpful and the free vacuums are awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a very powerful suction and long enough hoses that made it much easier for me than dragging my shop vac out and using extension cords to try to get my van cleaned out. With two people using a vacuum on each side at once, it made the job go by quickly. I used to come here all the time to get my truck washed. Never had a problem with going through with my truck that has 12.5 tires. They just did the renovations and reopened, and got denied because of my tire size. They said "tire is too wide for the track system." So I asked if they changed it from the previous track system and he said no. It's the same system, but management is just stricter now. More than likely not coming back due to this reason. I swear our car was cleaner when we returned it than when we got it so I feel like the rental company should've paid us for it. Now I just wish they had cheap car washes like this in SoCal. I'm bummed I found this place the day I bad to ship my car from Maui to Oahu. Last night I had an appt, went to work & had to fly late at night to get my car ready to ship. One of the requirements to ship with Young Brothers is to have the interior & exterior clean. Moving has been so stressful but I'm glad this place was open early (open at 7am) & I was able to get what I needed done before my 9am appt. It was such an easy process going through the drive thru car wash & their vacuum's were strong. The whole process was 10-15min. I was able to get my car clean & ready with ease. I for one will never take my car through any cash wash for as long as I'm able to do the duty myself as I take really good care of my vehicles. But, I've been through here enough times with my spouse's and mom's cars to say that this is the second best place on Maui to clean your ride, with the first being Hashi's in Wailuku because they do an almost full, manual wash before your vehicle goes through the machines. LOCATION: The car wash is part of the Maui Oil gas station located across from Mercedes Benz. THE VACUUM: With every wash comes use of their powerful suction machines. There are about 6 stalls with vacuums on both sides making for easy cleaning eliminating the need to stretch the hose from one side to the other. THE WASH: There are three pricing points to pick from. $8 gets you a basic wash. $10 adds wax, clear coat protectant and an air freshener. $12 adds Rain-X to the windows and shine to the tires. They use recycled and filtered water which is great, and credit card payment is easy (unlike at Hashi's which promotes cash sales). An overhead mirror and guidance of the staff aligns the driver's side wheels into a track that pushes your car through the soft cloth machine. They'll tape the tailgate wiper down for caution. THE RESULT: Your rims are still dirty but the tires are shiny (at Hashi's, they use a power washer and soapy brush to get even the most intricate rims fairly clean). The tailgates of both cars always has a missed spot. My mom's front license plate constantly gets bent from the machines and my spouse's passenger side mirror always gets pushed frontwards, but hey've never experienced any major damage. The air blower does at pretty good job at drying. I'd say the car comes out 95% clean. TIPS: I can vouch for their clear coat protectant as my spouse's 10 year old car that's parked outdoors 24/7 has not one oxidized spot! Maui Oil members (free membership) get 10-cents off per gallon of gas when purchasing a car wash at the gas pump. OVERALL: Affordable. You can't expect a machine to get your car 100% clean. read more

I had to wash my aunty's truck after she graciously let us use it when visiting back home (BEST AUNTY EVER) and there are limited choices for car washes on Maui, thanks to a lame ass water shortage that diverts water from Makawao to the tourists in Wailea, Kaanapali, etc. (Cannot even wash your car at your house but can swim in one full pool at the Aston Kaanapali Shores Garden Pool! WTF?!) Anyway, did a quick stop by here before filling up her tank (you know what to do when someone loans you their whip...don't be a punk!) and paid for the top-tier wash. Her car came out looking shiny and clean and I vacuumed the hell out of the inside and they even gave me two Wonder Wafers (Clean Car scent of course) for under the seats! The line was long but the employees were on it. Paying was easy (with a credit card) and we got in and out in about 25 minutes (20 of that was with the vacuum - I not leaving my aunty's car all pilau/stink!) read more

This is likely the best machine wash operation that you can find on Maui, which accepts debit/credit cards with a fair price range of $9-$13. If I were to do it myself, I'd spend just as much but likely spend twice as much time washing. Technically, I spent 15 minutes waiting in line for a 5-minute car wash. It's not organized in the greatest way. I recommend to drive SLOW and proceed with caution. If you are fortunate, an employee will wave you in the right direction. I was advised that as of January 2018 that only MauiOil members (I guess there's a club) are allowed to vacuum their cars first, then proceed to wash. I think that is very odd. What's the advantage of that? I had to wash my car and THEN vacuum. It seems nonsensical. I could vacuum first or last, but either way, there is no advantage that I could perceive that would make me go, "Ooh, I got to be a member!" I honestly don't know what's going on with that. I spent $11 for a car wash that included their spray wax, a car scent thing, and a little wipe for the dashboard, etc. Not bad. I spend more on a high school fundraiser car wash and get about the same service. I don't know why more than one person was upset that this machine wash did not remove the bird poop from their cars. If bird poop is allowed to dry on your car, it will stick like flipping glue. It has to be manually removed. Maybe I am wrong? read more

My boyfriend and rented a car in Maui and didn't want to incur any additional cleaning charges with our rental company so we came here at the recommendation of our Airbnb host for a cheap and quick car wash service! We paid for the simplest package and used the vacuum to clean up the car's interior since we had some dirt and sand everywhere. And within 15-20 minutes, we had a pretty clean rental car, ready for it's return! We didn't end up incurring any charges, which is great, so even though the car wash left water marks and didn't dry completely, it definitely got the job done and saved me a lot of money from potential fees. This was actually my first drive through car wash ever so that was a cool experience for me! It's all about convenience for this car wash. Located in the heart of Kahului at the same location of Maui Oil. The prices are convenient and the car wash is decent. Careful with their vacuum though... it'll literally suck anything in contact with the nozzle. Not saying it's a bad thing to remove the dirt and debris. But bad is dollar bills, important paperwork, a child .... you get the idea. They have the option of good, better and best options. I usually choose best to take advantage of the triple soap color (because it's cool ), tire shine and Rain x additions. My old '98 4Runner comes out shiny and windows are clean. Of course I take advantage of that super vacuum and make sure I'm in every crevice off the vehicle. Many french fries, coins and surprises are sucked into the underworld abyss. Decent car wash, for an automated system it does a good job. My favorite part is the free vacuums at the end! Very convenient as I am use to having a clean car outside and not on the inside because not much places throw in the free vacuum like they do. A great tip for all of you people who NEGLECT your cars and expect an AUTOMATED wash to magically clean up the things that you should have taken care of yourself. IF IT DOESN'T COME OFF then maybe you LEFT IT ON TOO LONG or you need A HIGHER LEVEL OF DETAIL SERVICES. There are numerous places on Maui to take your vehicle if your bird crap from last week burnt on to your roof because you left it there! An automated wash is a QUICK way to clean up lose to moderate dirt on your vehicle. IT will NEVER replace a hand wash or detail service! Tip #2 Any automated tire shine system uses a generalization to get your tire shine on your tires. So if your vehicle is like mine, lowered, with low profile tires and bigger rims you may end up with tire shine on your rims, and the lower parts of your vehicle. Like wise if you have a vehicle with very big tires, you may only get tire shine on a portion of your tire. With that being said, after a month of not washing my vehicle my car came out decently clean for how it went in! I got the top package and received a wipe and an air freshener. Even for a "no prep" (pre scrub) car wash I was happy with the end result. Had to wipe off the dirt from the little corners and hidden areas but that was expected. Pulled off to their free vacuums after the wash and how convenient ONE ON EACH SIDE of the vehicle! I will come here every other time I need to wash my car just for the vacuum portion, and if I have burnt on crap or heavy mud and dirt, I'll either take care of it myself or bring it else where. But if my car is moderately clean outside and dirty inside, this is definitely one of the places I head to. read more

Super easy and convenient and reasonably priced too! After a long week of exploring Maui, our rental car needed some tender love and care. We went around 5:30pm (they close at 6pm) , so there wasn't much of a line. We bought the Good Wash, which is the basic wash for $11. We also bought a microfiber towel for $2 so we can dry the car better afterwards. The best part was that the vaccuum comes free with the car wash and that was VERY necessary after going to the beach so many times. The very powerful vaccuum got every single speckle of sand and left the car squeaky clean. The whole process was very smooth and I will be returning here with my future rental cars. read more
