Not good! Not reliable! Find someone else for your concrete work! Work started in April 2020 for a swim spa install in our back yard. They didn't do the original tinting that was in the contract to match the concrete color with the rest of the lanai and never completed the rest of the work that was supposed to be done. Dirt was never hauled off. When the spa was delivered, we dug our own trenches for the electrical and had our neighbor provide the drill to make a proper hole for the electrical. They used most of our equipment- splashed concrete all over everything. Most promises were broken and our pergola was destroyed. I did not make the final payment based on damages and broken promises-- I heard other neighbors in the area had similar or worse experiences- good luck! Now about one year later, there are multiple cracks in the concrete- very disappointing! read more

Our condo complex made a horrible mistake of hiring Steve Warsh (Maui Meadows) to do our pool remodel. Quality of work is beyond horrible. Pool plaster is peeling off, both pool and SPA have leaks, pool deck has developed many cracks. Basically entire project is a waste and needs to be done over. Avoid at all cost. read more

I hate good experience with Maui Meadows Pools and Masonry. Yes, the permit process took longer than expected. Yes, the construction process hit a few snags, but I ended up with a great pool. We are in a pandemic! Every part of the process is going to be slow. Steve did what he could considering supply chain issues, staff shortages, and delays during permitting process. The County does have a lot of vacation days! Overall, I saved about 10k. It was worth the extra wait. Ill take some pictures and add them soon after the landscaping fills in. read more

Pool was defective and incomplete. No lights, no controls. Slow and shoddy workmanship. Pool immediately started leaking about 1 inch per day. Contactor was mostly unresponsive and seemingly only called when he needed money. Bad contractor. DO NOT USE. read more

I received bids from 5 different contractors and Maui Meadows Pool & Masonry was about $15k lower than the nearest competitor for my swimming pool. I thought there had to be a catch. However, after the permit flew through the planning department and construction finished much more quickly than originally planned and on budget, I realized this company was legit. I am SO HAPPY with my swimming paradise in my backyard. Steve was awesome during the whole process. They even gave me free pool building plans, and 3D layouts of the pool actually superimposed in my backyard. I was told to go ahead and shop around and see if I could get a better price. I did and it was a waste of time as this company was again $15k less than ANY of the competition. read more

I don't typically write negative reviews and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. In this situation I feel it's absolutely necessary to warn others of this contractor. We originally signed an agreement with Steve Warsh of Maui Meadows Pool & Masonry to install a pool and rock wall. He provided fabulous 3-D images and his sales technique was impressive and convincing. Although our neighbor behind us had used his company to install his pool, he failed to mention that to us. Being new homeowners, a few weeks later met the neighbor behind us. We shared with him we were installing a pool and he then informed us of the extremely negative experience they had with Maui Meadows Pool and Masonry. The next red flag was his check to our HOA for $200 bounced. We then realized his contract was very vague and asked him to give us a more detailed contract (per the advice of our neighbor, as he stated that Mr. Warsh conveniently forgot the details or promises of many conversations). Once this was produced, there was so much conflicting information we just couldn't sign it. We then started having problems with the County. They informed us that the architect stamp was not original, was outdated and there was no original Architect signature. This resulted in a lot of back-and-forth, lies and conflicting information from Mr. Warsh. At that point we decided to cancel our agreement with him. He signed a new agreement to refund $5000 of the $11,500 deposit we had given him. We wanted to pay him for the work he had done (which was only the production of the plans, submittal to the Association and County) but part of that deposit was for a rock wall which absolutely nothing took place. He signed the agreement which contained a payment schedule to repay us over a period of four months (at his request). After missing two deadlines, he gave us a check for half of the first missed payment. We have been advised that there is another small claims action against him as well as complaints with the DCCA. Be very careful with this company! He will promise you the world but won't remember what he told you when push comes to shove. read more

Our pool came in under budget and beyond expectations. We love the work that Steve did in capturing our vision in our backyard. He personally met with us often and valued input from both my husband and me. We highly recommend Maui Meadows Pools and Masonry. read more

Owner does not have a contractors license. Do not waste your time or money.

Things started off well. Offered the free estimate but didn't complete all the work in the estimate. Over promised and under delivered. Communication was off and on, sometimes good but often bad. We are still waiting for work to be finished: dirt to be hauled off, finishing on pergola, etc. This work started in May 2020 and is still outstanding. Very disappointed! read more
