I appreciated that there were not a lot of people around while I was relaxing in the area. My spa attendant, Shine, was a sweetheart. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. She definitely enjoys working there. I was checked in immediately when I arrived and was put right at ease. The place is like any spa in that there were many items for sale in the lobby and once you get to the back, you put your things away and take it easy. CJ was my massage therapist and while I don't typically choose a male therapist, I was happy not to have had a choice because he was amazing. I have felt great for days. I highly recommend you request CJ. I also like to chat when I have a massage, and he was a very good conversationalist. Good chat and relaxing massage to work every thing out. When my husband mentioned this to them when booking, they highly recommended the restorative message with Malia for me. Upon arriving, there is plenty of parking since it's in a small plaza. But it's a bit tricky to find the first time, since it is through a door and up the stairs. The receptionist was really nice and had us checked in quickly and got us water. Malia and Ashley kindly greeted us and brought us to the couple's room where we got settled in. My husband said his massage was really relaxing and Ashley was able to hit a lot of pressure points he didn't know were sore and tired. Malia was AMAZING, there was a point she used hot stone on my foot, and it was hurting so much due to the plantar fasciitis, but I knew I had to endure it. She really focused on the calves and foot with heat and helped me feel relax and comfortable. After the massage, Malia really took the time to explain home remedies and what I should do to help with plantar fasciitis. Overall, 808 Wellness Spa was amazing! We had such a relaxing and great time here. After Malia's advice in taking better care of my foot and massaging it as she recommended, I feel so much better while doing my high impact sports. The receptionist didn't mention the time, so I assumed 5 was it. I was shown the locker room and then walked out to the lobby in my robe. They let me wander around for about five minutes in the lobby in my robe before telling me that the relaxation room was through a door in the lobby. That was very confusing and awkward. I also tried their reflexology massage. The massage therapist made sure the amount of pressure was good for me.
