What made this situation worse was not just refusing to honor the agreed price after telling me they would hold the item for two business days -- it was the way I was treated afterward. Instead of honoring the business agreement we made, I was spoken down to and offered "charity" because I am homeless, as if I should simply accept being treated unfairly. I was not asking for charity. I was asking for a business to honor the deal they made with me. Being homeless does not make me less deserving of honesty, dignity, or respect. I still hope the business chooses to do the right thing and honor the original agreed price.
