Beware! I made the mistake of taking my Rx for Bifocals to this shop since it was right down from my eye doctors office. The optician, Mr. Bradley, does not believe in allowing the customer to choose. He hovered the whole time I was in the studio trying on frames. I am 69 years old, on Medicare which does not pay for glasses and I'm on Social Security, Mr. Bradley knew all of this, but being it was my first time buying glasses - which he also knew--he took full advantage of telling me what I needed vs. allowing me to choose. My bill came to $885, and oh - he doesn't like credit cards because they take a %. He sure didn't offer me a percentage off when I paid the deposit on the glasses. I'd like to say I was gouged, but it was more than that. He is extremely disorganized. Has office help just a couple of days a week, and a month later I finally had to repeatedly call to get a receipt for this expenditure!! Never again. The quality of the glasses in no way are representative of the price I paid. read more
