I was treated badly by the front desk, person, and the person who took me back to have my eyes examined. The front desk woman with the long dark hair told me well. We don't have your results so you will have it done. The one who took me back to have the eye exam questioned me on why I didn't have my paper signed, and when I explained to her that I had pulled up results from an eye test that I had done that I was going to show the doctor. I was told that if I didn't have the test done, she would be dilating me. Now mind you, I drove myself, so I was curious to how she was going to dilate me and why she said it in such a nasty way. But because I don't like conflict, I said do what you have to do when she was done. I went back to the room and waited for the doctor. I showed the doctor the results. She confirmed that I had that test done. I wasn't apologized too. I told her what her employees had done and said to me and that they were rude to me. It was basically just looked over. my point is this is a test that would have caused me an additional $40 and I felt that the way I was treated was unprofessional. Why are you trying to force me to pay for a test that I told you that I think I had already taken and I was looking to show it to you?! The only reason why this place even gets two stars is because of the woman that checked me out. She was very sweet very pleasant and knew how to talk to a patient. I'm not hard to get along with. I do not cause a scene. I do not raise my voice, but I do expect respect. And I don't feel that's too much to ask for considering I'm paying you to do a job for me. Basically, I walked out without getting glasses from there because I would rather have my money spent somewhere else where I'm treated better.

We also buy our frames and lenses from them and they have a good selection. They usually always have a sale of some king going on. I highly recommend them for your eyecare needs.

If it were at all possible, I'd rate Harrison Memorial Hospital no stars. This place hardly passes…read moreas a band-aid station, and I say this for several reasons. I have a sister, who is now six, but was three at the time. She was having severe pain in her chest, so we took her to HMH. They ran a test or two, and said it was probably acid reflux. With this persistant pain, we decided to get a second opinion and she was sent to UK Children's Hospital, where we found out that HER LUNG COLLAPSED! Also, when I was fourteen, my step-dad and I caught a nasty stomach virus. One of the family doctors prescribed fineragin to my step-dad and told me just to take what he prescribed to him. Two days later, I was having an acute dystonic reaction (an allergic reaction to a medication that causes muscles to draw up), so my mother took me to the emergency room. The quack of a doctor there told mom that I was faking it, just to send me home. Unconvinced, she refused to take me home. After several reactions, I cringed up and passed out due to not being able to breathe. They eventually sent me to U.K. Children's Hospital because they "couldn't do anything" for me. All I needed was benyadryl, constant I.V. fluids, and rest. Also, in the family doctors' office, there is a very rude receptionist named Sarah. Everytime I call to make an appointment, ask a question, or request a school excuse, she either gets very snobby, sarcastic, or just downright rude. I work at a local grocery store, so I understand that dealing with the public is hard, but really? It isn't that hard to be nice, especially in a place that deals with sick and injured people. My grandmother has COPD and has a VERY difficult time breathing. One time, she had to get moved to the Intensive Care Unit because it was so bad. She was put on oxygen, but the stupid inexperienced nurse turned her oxygen up too high and she almost died from it. A very careless mistake had almost turned into the loss of a life. The life of my grandmother. Overall, I am VERY displeased with Harrison Memorial Hospital and don't recommend it to anyone!
