I was treated badly by the front desk, person, and the person who took me back to have my eyes examined. The front desk woman with the long dark hair told me well. We don't have your results so you will have it done. The one who took me back to have the eye exam questioned me on why I didn't have my paper signed, and when I explained to her that I had pulled up results from an eye test that I had done that I was going to show the doctor. I was told that if I didn't have the test done, she would be dilating me. Now mind you, I drove myself, so I was curious to how she was going to dilate me and why she said it in such a nasty way. But because I don't like conflict, I said do what you have to do when she was done. I went back to the room and waited for the doctor. I showed the doctor the results. She confirmed that I had that test done. I wasn't apologized too. I told her what her employees had done and said to me and that they were rude to me. It was basically just looked over. my point is this is a test that would have caused me an additional $40 and I felt that the way I was treated was unprofessional. Why are you trying to force me to pay for a test that I told you that I think I had already taken and I was looking to show it to you?! The only reason why this place even gets two stars is because of the woman that checked me out. She was very sweet very pleasant and knew how to talk to a patient. I'm not hard to get along with. I do not cause a scene. I do not raise my voice, but I do expect respect. And I don't feel that's too much to ask for considering I'm paying you to do a job for me. Basically, I walked out without getting glasses from there because I would rather have my money spent somewhere else where I'm treated better.

I'm able to get some supplements that I needed and guidance on what to start taking. that being said, I am going to talk about the office atmosphere and ladies that work there. Leah is very nice and thorough and was so helpful. I have not had an appointment with Dr. Roach. however, my family has. The last couple times I've been at the office, I have encountered a particular person and I'm unsure if she is the same person. I talked to her once in person and the second time it was on the phone. the first time I came in and wanted to ask about a couple supplements. I had recently had an appointment with Leah and had driven over to ask about a particular supplement that I was interested in . this lady pops up out of no where and stands there and tells me I can't do that. she is really snappy and adamant about not allowing me in any way to inquire over the supplements. I was very polite , but firm and asked if I could speak to the nutritionist. she stood there behind the receptionist and denied that as well. I was very surprised at this rule she seemed well set on applying to me. I made an appointment with Leah after speaking with her. she told me I was not allowed to look at the supplements. I was shocked at this treatment, because I had been a faithful client and was also bringing them business through friends and family. I had also went to the center in the past and bought supplements that I was interested in. the lady there at that time was very helpful and friendly. later at my appointment I spoke to Leah and informed her of the situation. she told me to come to her directly the next time that happened and speak to her. she also told me I was able to buy any supplement I was interested in. she was disappointed in the fact that I had experienced this and was sorry. why would midway employ such snotty workers? and why would they allow treatment of polite , respectful clients who had questions and was interested in giving this center business and not only that , but spreading business to family and friends!? recently I had another negative experience and I'm wondering if it was with this same lady. I called the office to make an appointment. after getting my card information over the phone, the secretary informed me that I had a deficit on my account. I was sincerely unaware of this and she was pushing me to pay with the card I just gave her. I wonder if that was manipulation? I absolutely wanted to pay my bill, but I needed to ask what it was for. since the receptionist couldn't give me further information she transferred me to the accountant. As soon as I spoke to this accountant lady she was snippy and short . she immediately acted as if I was wrong for inquiring over my bill. she informed me that it was my responsibility and acted as if I had been receiving notices and was avoiding it. I didn't argue, I only asked a couple questions. I then paid my bill. she seemed disappointed that I paid, as if she wanted to argue and was wanting me to argue over the bill. again, very poor attitudes from this office and I'm thinking it's the same lady . Dr Roach are you aware of this behavior? how it dissuades business and will eventually effect you? remember one bad apple will spoil the whole bunch.

A bit over a year ago, I had planned to bring my child to a specific pediatrician in Lexington…read more Well, my baby was born a month earlier than expected, the day before I planned to visit the pediatrician. While at the hospital, I had to pick an on-call pediatrician from one of two places in Georgetown to come examine the baby. After having a sour experience with the other office, I choose Bluegrass Pediatrics. I met Dr. Knight that evening at Georgetown Hospital and liked him so much that we decided to stick with him at Bluegrass Pediatrics instead of the pediatrician in Lexington that I had originally planned to see. I'm glad we did. Dr. Knight has given us the best care, always listening to us -- even if he didn't agree with us. The staff members at Bluegrass Pediatrics itself are very friendly and polite. They are also quick to get us in for an appointment within the same or next day as needed.... and have a pediatrician available for phone calls when office hours are closed. The office may not be bright and flashy, but don't let that fool you. (They are also a family practice, it's not just for kids -- so your kids can go here for their entire lives!) There is also a separate sick and well area, although you have to walk through the sick area to get to the front desk/doctor anyway. Sadly, we are not currently patients at Bluegrass Pediatrics as of this month because of a change in insurance. It is a bit frustrating (especially as we had a medical need for our child recently), but it is what it is. I'm still thankful for the care my son received here. Highly recommend.
