Additionally, I am deeply concerned about the store's food handling practices under the current ownership. Employees were reportedly instructed by the owner to write off food every two hours, even though the items are being sold for up to four hours. As a customer, this raises serious quality and safety concerns because the food ends up looking crusty, old, and unappealing. This does not reflect the standards I have always associated with 7-Eleven. Since the new owners took over, the overall environment and professionalism of the store appear to have gone downhill. I have always enjoyed and supported 7-Eleven, but the current attitude and management practices are discouraging me from returning. (Now Copenhagen recently changed up their packaging, so I understand the possibility of confusion) Not 5 minutes later, I realize he gave me pouches - so I turn around and head back into the same 7-11 where this female clerk just heard me order my usual, told me I was good and saw me leave not 10 minutes ago... I explain the situation and she informs me that there is nothing they can do. So I informed her that if clerks can make a mistake, then can't fix their mistake with a customer who literally orders the same exact items every other day for the last 3+ years, then I would find a newstore where the clerks pay closer attention as I am now out for the cost of two cans of Cope with no rectification, so I'll be going to one of the plenty of other C-stores rather than returning to this specific site again in the future. People make mistakes, but they need to be able to correct them.
