I'm not one to leave reviews, but after my experience yesterday I feel it is a must and worth…read morereading. Firestone in Selma is a JOKE. Normally I go to the enterprise location on Rucker Blvd (100/10 service btw), but I was out of town visiting someone in Monroeville for about a week so I decided to go here so I could get my issue over with. This location was an hour drive. I wish now I would have read the google reviews of this place first and should've waited! I took my car in on May 7th approximately around 10-11am. Stood at the counter for at LEAST 30 minutes before I was even greeted. One advisor was with a customer (understandable) the other was at the other counter sitting on his phone the entire time. He didn't acknowledge us at all. We decided to wait until the other advisor finished with his customer so we sat in the waiting area in the main lobby. ONE HOUR we sat there before I had to finally walk up and TELL HIM what we were there for. Mind you this same advisor saw us first walk in the door and sit so he knew we were waiting to be seen. I tell him I need an A/C diagnostic done. He said "ok, have a seat" so we sit and wait. He didnt ask for my key, what car i drove, nothing. TWO HOURS LATER I then proceed back to the counter and ask what the wait time is, he proceeds to tell me they were about to "pull it into the shop" so we sit and wait ANOTHER HOUR. My car is still sitting the same place we parked it. I finally ask if we can leave the car there and come back later because we had been waiting well over 3 hours at this point, but he had already took my key from me. I should've asked for it back and left right then and there. He says we can leave it and he'll call when it's ready. We left, had lunch, tried to kill whatever time we could with thrift stores, Walmart, etc. 4 HOURS goes by. I had already called twice in this time frame to ask for an update and he said they were "working on it". Finally at 4:30PM I call again and he says it'll be "just a few more mins so we leave town and drive back to Firestone. I immediately check in at the desk and tell him I'm back and ready to pick up my car. The guy says he'll let the mechanic know. Again, another hour goes by. It's 5:30 or so, we sit until 6 and I see the mechanic slowly start to close up the shop. So I assume my car is either done or almost done. Finally at 6:30 I ask the guy for yet another update and he walks me out to the shop and proceeds to tell me I literally CAN'T drive home because I have an oil leak and that it's "too dangerous to drive" I did know about the oil leak, but it was nowhere near to the severity they were making it sound. The guy refused to give me my keys and said they wanted to keep it overnight to diagnose the oil leak because they wouldn't be able to fix my AC until the oil leak was fixed. THANKFULLY, I had someone follow me to Firestone to begin with so I had a ride home since we were over an hour away. I did inform him I was not from the area and I was needing my car before Friday evening to head back home (Elba). Fast forward to today (may 8 I have called once at 7am, the same guy in the lobby said the mechanic hasn't pulled my car into the bay yet to start working on it (but it was already in the bay when you closed last night, now it isn't?) I called again around 11, he said he had just got a "list" of repairs needed, and would call back in a "few minutes" with a quote. It is now 2:30 and I have yet to hear anything back. I'm beyond furious, and stressed and honestly over this location and every employee there. I was told when I dropped my car off last night they would have my AC and oil leak fixed by the end of day today ('may 8) and I haven't even gotten told a quote for the repairs in the first place or if/when I can even get my car back. I have never heard of someone having a car from 10am-6pm for a AC DIAGNOSTIC just to later find out at CLOSING I could've easily dropped my car off and went home or who knows what else instead of sitting here being ignored and given the run around by employees for SEVEN HOURS! Once I get my car (whenever this is) I will NEVER return to this location! I have also let the owner know my experience as well.

Ten minutes later, I pull up to the store STILL ON HOLD. I look around and they're all either working out making a good show of it. One dude comes out of the back to all can he hep me. I tell him I'm still on hold from when I called. He appears baffled then says, he doesn't know who did it. I ask him the warrior and he said an hour and a half. -_- Bruh. Selma is a dump...avoid it.

Four months earlier I made an appointment for an oil change for my Honda Pilot. I had to wait four hours. I'm really not sure how this dealership will survive. I plan to use the dealership in Montgomery, AL from now on . I would rate my experience a zero. Do not use this dealership.

I can see why this dealership has a 1 star review, I like the others would probably have given it less if possible. Unlike another reviewer, I guess I got lucky and didn't make a purchase from this place. I am in the market for a Honda CRV and was traveling to visit my mom and decided why not give my childhood dealership in the small town a shot. Big mistake. I arrived around 4PM, hopped out of my car, and began walking the lot. After about 20 minutes on one side of the lot, I thought hmmmm, that's strange. Not one salesman has even come out to greet me or say hi. Maybe their closed, no I look inside and there are people walking around and there are folks in the service center. So I walk to the other side of the lot and continue looking and taking pictures, and 30 minutes later, I'm still just out on the lot alone as no one has said hello, hi, can I help you or even given a distant wave. So after almost an hour I go to my car and I'm sitting on the phone telling what just happened and asking is this how dealers sell cars now? Out walk 3 people, we make eye contact, and they keep walking, and I closed my car door and drove away, I was done Maybe this is a post covid thing, and dealerships let you do all the work, and you just write them a check and stick it under the door they toss you the keys through a door slot, and you drive off. I'll be going to my local dealership back home on Monday and buying the CRV that I came here looking for.
