Hard to make a choice with their comprehensive menu, but keeping with our tradition of eating lighter in the evening while traveling we went with: - Tomato and Mozzarella salad - A large piece of toasted bread - Veal Schnitzel with potatoes - Apple Strudel Without going through each item in detail I will say that everything was fantastic! Tomatoes and cheese were so fresh and tasty and the schnitzel was wonderful... Not enough good things to say about the amazing strudel..... Nothing like having apple strudel in Germany. The inside isn't huge, but luckily there was room for our party of six -- we were able to push a few tables together. Most of the other tables were taken, so I imagine it's even busier on weekends. I got the avocado toast with tofu scramble, and a couple people in our group got the avocado toast without it. We all got coffee, and some of us also got orange juice. The food was tasty and fresh, and although I found the portion size to be a bit small relative to the price, I would probably come back here to try other things on the menu.

I was lucky to meet the inspiring founders of Cafe Gratitude in August at a raw food workshop and from what I know, they planned to come back soon, it's a workshop worth attending for all those interested in joining the Cafe Gratitude community. Back in August, Cafe Gratitude Munich was just in plan, now it's a very nice reality and it's one of the places where I could stay all day long, it's part of my favourite cosy homey places in Munich. My friend had the sweet potato soup and the hummus, which was good but a tiny portion for €4. We did get a nice-sized serving of bread with the meal, which was also nice. The reason I can only rate it three stars is due to price...€12 for a lunch dish and a "mittagsangebote" for the full price of the dish + €5 to get a drink and a soup seems pretty high to me. We knew about the cat cafe from some pre vacation research. We were excited to find that they were open and serving food when we arrived. All the cats were napping when we arrived but soon five of them would be up and about playing and exploring. They were investigating a paper bag we had from the Nespresso shop so I emptied it out and let them play with it. We got a burger and pulled BBQ sandwich.
