We presented him with a house that needed stucco repair, due to new windows being put in, and cracks, from poor/zero repair in the past, drywall, and complete painting of the exterior, and a little interior painting, along with interior drywall. If we could give Max 100 stars, we absolutely would! He is simply the best for all projects involving outdoor stucco and stucco repair! We needed a small portion of our outdoor stucco trim removed in order to have an iron door installed, and then to also rebuilt the stucco afterwords. When phoned, Max came out promptly to give us an price estimate approx 2 months prior to the door install. His crew came out 3 more times; first to remove the stucco, next to rebuild the stucco, and then finally to paint the rebuilt stucco trim (we did supply the paint for this project.) With each of these 3 visits, Max and crew did not come on time, THEY CAME EARLY and absolutely ready to work. As you can see from these photos, this stucco job was completed neatly and precise. I am the facility manager for a facility with several buildings built at different times. The buildings are not painted but were done with elastomeric stucco that has the color in the stucco. Because of the difference in years built, Max has diligently worked to match each of the buildings slight variations in color and texture, even though they each appear to be the same. I had a lot of water-damaged stucco on the walls of our residence and on a 6 foot perimeter wall where the walls were in contact with the ground. I contacted several "stucco repair" companies, who turned out to be primarily painters, who said they could do stucco repair also. I wanted a true stucco contractor who really knew his craft. I went with Max Stucco & Plastering because he had that seasoned stucco knowledge and didn't bat an eye on the difficult terrain of my property. Max's bid was also significantly lower than the other companies i received bids from. I wasn't disappointed. Max's crew was extremely thorough and worked on the areas removing weakened stucco until good stucco remained to an extent that I was very impressed. After a bonder and a base coat, the final textured coat matched very well with the original stucco. At the end of the job, Max's crew worked very diligently to clean up the work area of chips of stucco from the removal of the damaged areas and of mortar droppings during the stucco repairing. I never heard a thing back from him. I called him today and he can't complete the repair now so I have to start all over looking for someone that can get the repair done quickly. Had a job that involved replacing wood panel siding of my house with sand finish stucco, which amounted to about 2/3 of the exterior of the house. Max came in with the best bid and I went with him based on the strength of his yelp reviews and photos. Overall, his crew did a very good job. The stucco is very clean and looks great, and Max was very responsive and easy to reach throughout the process. Just two things prevented a 5-star review... First, the cleanup wasn't as good as I would have liked. They got the big stuff, but I had to spend some time picking up lots of smaller pieces of debris in the yard after the job was done. Second, one of his guys applied stucco over a screen door and the track that it slides on, making it a screen door that I can't use. I don't use it often so I didn't notice it until my painters arrived and pointed it out. That said, I have to give credit to Max for making it right. When I called him about it, he came out to look himself and then sent a guy out to fix it at a time we agreed upon. I just had to do a little painting myself around that area once it was fixed, which wasn't a big deal. I think his low pricing makes and the final results make up for those couple issues. They really were relatively minor and my house looks great now. I wouldn't hesitate to use Max Stucco again. read more

Max is just a fantastic person to deal with as we're Canadian's that had a flood that they found mold on a outside shared wall. Max and his crew came in removed the old stucco and Drywall and replaced with green fire rated plywood and re stuccoed our house in less then one week.
