We got five bids for the job, and R&M came in lower than the other four. They did an excellent job on all of it. Ramiro was great to work with. On a job this large, things change and new issues come up along the way, and he was flexible with us every single time. There was also an insurance claim involved, which meant a lot of extra detail and documentation on top of the actual construction work. He gladly provided everything we needed, every time we asked, and never treated it as an inconvenience. That made a genuinely stressful process much easier to manage. Rafa, our project manager, was our day-to-day on site and was outstanding. He was attentive, there consistently, and always responsive when we had questions or added something to the punch list. He never made us feel like we were bothering him and stayed on top of the details all the way through closeout. We were displaced to an Airbnb during the rebuild, which means we trusted this crew in our home while we weren't there. Everyone was friendly, courteous, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. More than one crew member told us they just wanted to make sure it was done the right way, and you could see that in the finished work. They went above and beyond on everything we needed. The bunk bad is unique in that it only has 2 legs on front side and is screwed to studs on the wall on the opposite side. This design utilizes lesser space in this room. I gave him a photo from an online add. He sketched the bed frame, build it, and installed it a week later. I, then hired him to frame and install 2 heavy doors from HD. He had to frame an opening that was to wide for my barn door. I had a barn door install to isolate the living room from the rest of the house for a business space. Richard and his crew also installed a new exterior glass front door to allow more natural light to enter my living room. I loved the results! It pains me to write this review but it is a necessary cautionary tale for others. Danny and his…read morecrew have done a few jobs for me. All of which I had been pleased with both pricing and quality. However, recently things went completely off the rails. The project started bad and ended awful. I got a call the day before the start saying we'd have a few days delay. Ok fine. I got a call later saying somebody would show up tomorrow. No one did. I got a call the next day saying they'd be there tomorrow. This time a guy showed up, said he needed to get some supplies, and never came back! Finally a guy came and tiled the shower and floors. Progress. Next, a crew came to do install the vanity. They left and never came back. Literally no one has come back to my house. And to make matters worse, Danny has completely ghosted me! Will not return my text. Will not return my calls. He was Johnny quick when it was time to collect the deposit. And now, nothing. It's bad enough that he took my money and left me high and dry. Our project was delayed months. When I finally scrambled to get a different contractor we found issues wrong with our cabinets. That's not their fault but given the delays we missed our return window. That's at least a couple more thousand dollars this company cost me. It has been an extremely frustrating experience apart from the money lost. We signed a contract. Never trust a company that doesn't honor it's own paperwork.
