Located in a pretty spot on the mountain, it takes about 1-1.5 hrs to hike up. There aren't really great views from the hut as various trees or buildings are blocking it. The menu is small - soup, salad, a few mains, dessert, a handful of drinks. My mom and I shared the schnitzel which came with a big piece of fried pork, some boiled potatoes (with oil and herbs), a piece of tomato, and a red berry sauce (lingonberry? Not sure). Food was tasty, the schnitzel wasn't super fried but had good flavor, same with the potoatoes although I could've done with less oil.
Good portion but very pricey at 18.90 euros - also cash only. We didn't know it was cash-only, thankfully they had Paypal but data was a bit spotty, we ended up having to do it a bit outside the hut. Got it to work in the end though. read more
