We are travelling from America and while travelling abroad, as we often do, do our best to speak the language and adjust to customs. My German is actually not bad at all, which came in handy tonight because our waitress claimed to speak no English. Our waitress judged us as Americans right away, she hardly ever came by the table and did the bare minimum to get our drinks and dinner. When all of our beer, wine and food was done we waited 30 minutes as she obviously ignored us before finally getting her attention and asking for our bill. Then after another 15 minutes waiting for the bill as she did everything else she could think of I finally had to get up and track her down clearing a table and embarrassingly ask her if we could please have our bill and pay for it. Everyone in the restaurant looked at me like I was crazy, but I'm sure they would have done what I did if they had sat with no food or drink for 45 minutes. Sadly this experience really ruined my true love for Bavaria. We are not loud Americans, we travel often, and rarely are juged like we were tonight.

The exterior was beautiful and welcoming. I opted to sit outside since it was a nice day, but their inside was very cozy with dark wood and traditional elements. The front patio area was peaceful, shaded and breezy. Plentiful seating. Location is a little outside the main part of town so I drove and parked around the corner. FOOD: Solid, hearty meal. I went for the ribs and throughly enjoyed myself. Really no complaints. SERVICE: Quick and friendly service. It wasn't too busy while I was here so the waiter spent a good amount of time just chatting with me about my trip and things to do in the area. Overall just a great meal in a beautiful location.
