    Moxy Milan Linate Airport

I stayed at the Moxy Milan Linate Airport last night, as I got into Milan late after a cancelled…read moreflight. I needed somewhere close by for the night, so I chose Moxy. The Moxy is about a 15 minute walk from the airport. They don't have a shuttle. So if you're not keen on walking, there is a local bus that runs about every half hour until about 930PM that stops by the Moxy. You can of course also take a taxi/Uber. I walked, and it wasn't too bad even with large heavy suitcases. Just follow the walking path (it's marked with an airplane symbol on the ground, walking next to the garage and to the street and towards the hotel. It's pretty straight forward. Just note that the street can be kind of busy with cars, so I'd advise on waiting for the stoplights to turn green before you cross the street! The hotel is pretty basic. They provide enough towels for two persons. There is hand soap. No other amenities on the bathroom counter. In the shower is shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Bed was pretty comfy and firm (the way I like it), and the pillows were not too hard (or high)- just the way I like it. My room was surprisingly quiet, so I slept fairly well! In the morning, you'll most likely get a few knocks by housekeeping if you don't put your sign up. They knocked a few times asking when I was leaving- kinda was annoyed but hey I get they're doing their job (and I forgot to put the sign up). Overall, a pretty good experience. Hotel isn't fancy at all, and is more on the budget end. I wouldn't pay more than 100€ to stay here, any more would be too expensive imo.

I stayed at the hotel this past August to attend the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix and also spend a…read morefew days in Milan. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was situated at a midpoint. The facilities were excellent, as were the rooms. However, I encountered a couple of issues, and unfortunately, the staff that assisted me had a rather poor attitude. On the second night, I discovered that the room's safe was not functioning; it got locked, and I had to request assistance to have it opened. This happened on a Thursday night, and early Friday morning, I needed my passport, which was inside the safe, as we were going on a tour to Switzerland. I couldn't sleep, worrying if someone would arrive in time the next morning. Fortunately, they did, and the safe was opened just in time. Due to this incident, I decided not to use the safe again and instead left some money inside one of my bags. Big mistake! The night before my check-out (scheduled for the following morning at 6 am), I realized that the money I had left in my bag, around $700, was missing. That same night, I went to the front desk to speak to the hotel manager, but they informed me that since it was Sunday, there was no manager available until after the time of my planned check-out the next day. I asked what I should do, whether I should call the police or take other actions, and they responded with a very poor attitude, saying I could do whatever I wanted. In the end, I know my mistake was leaving something outside of the safe, but I didn't expect the staff to search through my bags looking for something to steal. The following day, I emailed the hotel manager, who apologized but essentially blamed me for not requesting a room change when the safe wasn't working. She also claimed to have tested the safe, stating that it worked, although it clearly didn't in my case.

I opted for a taxi since it was very early in the morning but the train station is only a few blocks away. This hotel is very quaint. i stayed in 2 separate rooms, one was much smaller with very little room to move around whereas the 2nd one was larger. You are welcomed to the room with nice fluffy sandals, a mini bar filled with water, snacks and drinks and the price is very reasonable. I did not mind the smaller room at all, on the contrary I was impressed with the use of space. The stay includes breakfast and the selection is pretty good. Do not expect an American breakfast spread with Eggs and sausage but they had plenty of pastries, varieties of coffee, yogurt and lots of fruits and drinks. one evening they also mentioned that they serve free welcome drinks in the early evening but I couldn't stay since I was going out to dinner with coworkers. They never charged me for the water I used from the mini bar either. The employees are very friendly and welcoming and makes sure that your stay is comfortable. My first room had some problem minor issue with the controller for the heater but they had extra blankets and i was comfortable. One thing to note is that neither of the 2 hotels I stayed at had an iron in the room. One of them ironed items for you at a charge. So make sure you try to take clothes that don;t easily wrinkle.

Their coffee is offensive to all of Italy. Completely unremarkable food that isn't worth the price. -For how big the room was, the shower was SO small. The handle was insanely temperamental and it's a few centimeters between getting burned to death or frozen. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Cold room in the winter The max temp the room can go is 24C when we called them to increase the temp they just said No! rudely. The room is cold even during the day and not needed to say coldest at night. I come from the US, and among all the hotels I went, this is the coldest among all!!! 2. Unfunctional radiator The radiator which warms the room is behind the curtains to when you close thecurtains at night, the warm weather would go outide. So cold nights!! Useless!!! 3. 2 twin beds sold as king bed They charged us for king bed when they put 2 twin beds next to each other. You cant even sleep in the middle as it is so uncomfortable. 4. Small sized trash cans We could not even find the rooms's trash can at first so small can under the table and dont let me start on the can they put at the bathroom sooo tiny.

When we arrived, our room wasn't ready yet since we had arrived early for checkin, so we had to wait a bit. We were pretty hungry at that point, and since our room wasn't ready, the app for ordering food wasn't working for us. But the guest relations team stepped in, took our order personally, and made sure the food was delivered right after we got into our room. Honestly, they couldn't have handled it better. The location is also great, with a beautiful view of Milano Centrale station. Without doing any research, we were able to hop on the airport shuttle and get dropped off just two minutes from the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was amazing too. They even had a DIY juicer, which I loved so much I actually wanted one for my home. I'm not even a dessert person, but I tried the pastries and they were so good. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtful and well done. The service, room, the overall experience, everything was perfect! No complaints at all. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival they took our luggage and check-in was an easy process. The benefits came with a free room upgrade so we decided to wait for a two twin room. We arrived around noon and left to explore. When we came back around 4pm, our room still wasn't ready so we went to their spa. They did send our luggage to the room though. Their spa is absolutely amazing. You already have access to the facilities if you're staying there. They were closing them December 1-10 for maintenance so we were only able to enjoy them for November 30th, but still used the facilities to the fullest. We booked two massages too. My favorite was the salt room. They also had a pool, saunas, and steam rooms. The privacy was next level, it felt like we had the whole space to ourselves. I also loved the abundance of snacks and water. I booked the relaxing massage and had an incredible experience. If you have time, I highly recommend a massage here. As for the room, it was huge. It was very "modern" 90s. The light switches weren't intuitive. I loved the bathroom! It was also very spacious. We had a courtyard room (Room 342) so it sorta felt like we had a room with no windows based on where the window was placed. The beds were fine. We made the most of the room and enjoyed our stay. The complimentary breakfast was phenomenal! There was a HUGE variety of choices for all types of breakfast from sweet to savory to all around the world foods. We adored breakfast. We ordered our coffees (love that they had non-dairy options) and then enjoyed the buffet. The hotel was so charming during our stay, not only because the incredible staff, but because they had all their Christmas decorations out. The tree at the lobby was so beautiful (someone had a photoshoot in front of it). I'd recommend staying here for a night.
