The front desk staff is very friendly & the hygienists are great! I HATE going to the dentist, it's always been a very stressful experience for me when I've had to go. I explained my concerns to Dr. Chaconas & his staff and they were more than happy to help accommodate me and make me as comfortable as possible! Dr. Chaconas is incredibly prompt as well. My appointments never run late & he never seems to be overbooked! And he works quick! I've had to get 2 fillings & they both took WAY less time than I was expecting, which is perfectly fine with me! My recovery was quick & painless, and I haven't had any issues with either tooth!

It has to be an absolute emergency if I go to the dentist because I am scared to death. I did not feel ANY pain beginning with several shots to having two upper teeth pulled. I have never had such a compassionate Doctor who listened to everything I said including that it is very difficult to numb my mouth. He gave me extra shots and I felt absolutely nothing. I received my partial today, which fit perfectly. He spent time on everything I needed to do to take care of them. I recommend South Star Dental to family, friends and to anyone reading this review.
