I tried booking online. on the site all went though but I received no confirmation email or text so did not trust it had been completed. So I emailed: no reply. Texted twice: no reply. Then left a phone message to which they finally replied and no the online booking though shown complete on their site had not gone through. As it was a slow drain (not blocked drain) issue I was willing to wait 48 hours for a non emergency plumber to come. They gave a 3 hour window and I asked for them to come as soon as they could to bte beginning of the window. The Plumber arrived 5 minutes before the end of the 3 hour window- informed me their dispatch only just gave him the call. He was a grinning young punk who went to the drain with me- (did not bring in his gear and it turned out that was a good thing) stood in my basement looking at the outside of my closed drain to give me his "expert opinion" then declared his minimum fee for snaking the drain- only snaking no camera no repair a simple snake was $1395 and would be one hour work. I sent him packing. He must have though I was born last night. The mature gentleman II dealt with before (who had been the owner operator) had been respectful and his quote for work was within the ball park of what all other plumbers in ottawa charge. This punk was just out to try and take as much as he could from a retired senior. Shameful. Stay far away from this company. FYI: Ottawater plumbing, Flashrooter, Gentleman plumber, Ottawa Drain cleaning all come in with quote of $500-700 for during working hours drain snaking.
