I finally got angry with the situation and realized that I needed some help. Not knowing anything about hypnotherapy, I decided to give it a try and found Paz on Yelp. I was attracted to her offer of a "30-day fix" because I didn't want ongoing therapy for years and years with no end in sight. Within one hour (seriously), she was able to get to the root of the problem - the moment when the first "domino" fell and led me down the path to self-doubt and insecurity. After the initial session, Paz had me listen to a custom-made audio recording every morning after waking and every night before going to sleep. 30 days later, I was in a completely different headspace. Hypnosis wasn't what I thought it was based on tv and the movies, it's far more subtle....but it worked. I was able to deliver the speech. And while I was a little apprehensive, there were no feelings of dread or nausea. My voice held steady, I could breathe easily, and I could deliver the message. I was merely stating my opinions along with the facts I witnessed to help another avoid the misery I faced here. I'm years clean and sober, but in no help from this dump. I found…read moreMandy's just looking for stuff in a 5 mile radius and sent a message over Yelp and scheduled something for the same day within 2 hours. This place is tucked away upstairs in a suite at some chiropractor's office. You have to get buzzed in and go upstairs. If it does matter to you, the ambiance is not exactly luxurious - no aromatherapy or special views. Just some meditation music playing out of an ipad and a couple candles. Regardless, the massage itself was great. Mandy really goes at all the knots and ensures the massage is from head to toe. It was a very well spent 60 minutes.
