The owner won't even tell me what coating was used on the deck so I could try and re-coat it myself.

We had discussed what I wanted and he allowed me to choose my own fixtures, I went pretty super cheap for the tub and surround. Anything could have been better than what I had, lol. (thirty year old dirty tub) He made my cheapish products look REALLY good. Price was also about half of what the corp "Re-bath" etc types are currently quoting. Really pleased at his demeanor, very cool and enjoyed having him to the work we asked without belittling us for less than superior grade tub, surround, etc. He just made it look fabulous.
