You say I never contacted you. That is untrue. I contacted you and several others through Yelp and other platforms. When you never replied, I just figured you were not interested in the job. I thought it was a done deal. Then Yelp contacted ME,and asked how my experience was with you. ONLY because Yelp reached out to me did I submit that review. Obviously THEY knew a request was made otherwise they wouldn't be asking how it went. The error is on YOUR end. It either got lost or Yelp messed up somewhere. You mentioned the other company that I submitted same type of rating for. That company contacted me and apologized for not getting back to me. They claim they didn't my request either, but rather than getting nasty, they said it must have gotten lost in the system somewhere. I called on a saturday as my gate broke, and Sam (the owner) answered the phone. I explained what happened to my backyard gate, and he listened patiently, offered to come do a no pressure quote, and talked about what might be needed. He arrived a couple days later on our arranged date, on time, to do the quote. We discussed options, and at no time did I feel any pressure for "upselling". There were just options being laid out per my request and what I might be looking for. Sam went back to the office, gave me written (detailed) quotes via email, and I decided to proceed with an option. We arranged a date via email. On the appointment date, I was the second appointment and sam kept me appraised of their arrival time, which was within the window we agreed upon. He introduced his team, who proceeded to start work.
