They also run stain glass making classes which is why we were here. Judy the owner is really cool and has a lot of knowledge in glass projects and assists to make the projects pretty fun. It is a much different take on the painting parties which are now all the hype. This place lets you choose various pieces of glass collected in buckets to create some pretty cool designs, which are soldered and assembled by hand. We were amazed how cool the stuff really turned out. The prices were reasonable and we all were impressed with this place and Judy walked us through everything with assistance from her employees. I would definitely come back to this place and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a cool place for art projects and a fun event for a group!

When we arrived though, we found out that the farm is usually closed during the summer (unless you email the owner in advance) and that their website is the only reliable site to see the hours! Luckily, the owner was around and super nice and gave us a tour anyway! There were goats, a mini horse, a mini donkey, and an alpaca herd worthy of the trek we took! All the animals were really friendly, and the owner was incredibly informative. The highlight was probably an extra cuddly mini donkey that ran to my boyfriend and insisted on being pet! Overall - it was a fun adventure and I highly recommend it! I'm sure it's even better once the weather is cooler!

Every May, my sister sends me a gift certificate for my birthday and I go with a friend on a trip to Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton to kick off the gardening adventure for the year. I love going to Weston Nurseries because they make everyone feel like a garden expert. Their staff are helpful and friendly and if they don't know an answer, they'll find someone who does! I was very pleasantly surprised to see their huge selection of perennials had been laid out alphabetically this year!!!!! No more aimless wandering looking for astilbe in the middle of the hellebores or sedum. The prices are a bit higher than other local shops or big box home improvement stores. However, aside from two of the mini plants I bought from the clearance section that died, I have never been disappointed in the quality of things I've purchased there.
