When your attorney works against you..Do your homework before signing anything here.. I retained this firm for what I was told would be a straightforward matter. During the intake process, the sales rep was very clear that costs would stay within a set budget unless the case reached trial -- and even suggested I'd likely get some money back from the unused portion. That's what got me to sign. Within weeks, the full retainer was gone with little to show for it in terms of progress, and I was then presented with a bill nearly triple what I had been quoted as the ceiling. The case hadn't come close to trial. The firm then withdrew, leaving me in a worse position than when I started. When I tried to raise my concerns, it took repeated attempts to get anyone on the phone. I've since learned I may not be the only client who had this experience. If you're considering this firm, ask very specific questions in writing before signing -- and don't rely on anything that's said verbally during the sales call. read more

The worst experience ever! Family Law: they layer expenses ( atty and assistant on conference call) I was paying almost $X,XXX/hr as well as $XX to send the zoom link and $XX to set a reminder for atty to show up! They charge $XX for their "Welcome package" (emailed to you) . For mediation, my "atty" called the opposing counsel to ask them to send a zoom link instead of the mediator. Deeply Disappointed - Thousands Spent, No Results, and Mishandled Representation I'm writing this review to share my experience with Meyerson Law and the attorneys Jonathan Galler and Dina Hujber. I trusted them during one of the most difficult times in my life -- my divorce -- and unfortunately, I was left financially drained and without proper representation. Jonathan charged me $7,000 for a protection order that was later dropped by the judge, with no clear explanation or follow-up. Later, both attorneys prepared a "global agreement" for my divorce that I was told to sign, but my ex-husband never signed it. I was the only one who signed, and it ended up putting me in an even worse position legally. After leaving Meyerson Law, they formed their own firm and convinced me to continue with them privately. They asked me to make cashier's checks in their personal names instead of to a law firm trust account, totaling $40,000 (money borrowed from my mother). Despite that, I received almost no representation, no invoices, and no meaningful updates on my case. Their handling of my matter led to sanctions against me, forcing me to hire yet another attorney to clean up the mess they left behind -- costing me even more time, money, and stress. In the end, I lost nearly everything. I'm sharing this to warn others: please do your research, ask for written retainer agreements, make sure your payments go to a trust account, and demand itemized billing. I wish I had known those things sooner. My final fee was $25,000 which I paid my ex gave the final check for $10,000 which was written in the MSI agreement (little did I know he never signed it ) and they're still trying to bill me for $67,000 after I have a letter stating from Dina I would be only charged $25,000. After Jonathan and Dina leaving Meyerson Law, they later moved on to their own separate law firm and convinced me to continue with them privately. They told me to make cashier's checks in their personal names instead of the firm name or a trust account, totaling around $40,000, which came from my mother. Despite that, I received almost no representation, no invoices, and no progress in my case. Their mishandling of my case led to sanctions being imposed on me, forcing me to hire another attorney to repair the damage. I lost time, money, and emotional stability as a result. Later, they attempted to file a charging lien against me for attorney's fees -- but the judge denied it, stating that there were no tangible fruits or results produced from their representation. Under Florida law, an attorney's charging lien only attaches to the tangible fruits of their labor -- meaning a judgment, settlement, or measurable recovery obtained by that attorney's work. Since they produced no such results, the judge refused to grant them the lien. Even after the court's denial, Meyerson Law, Dina Hujber have continued trying to pursue me personally for money. I find it deeply unfair that, after losing my case and providing no benefit, they are still attempting to collect fees. I have spent all of my savings on lawyers who promised to help me but did nothing of value. I'm sharing my story so others know what to look out for: * Always insist on written retainer agreements. * Make sure payments go to a firm escrow account, not personal names. * Ask for itemized billing. * And understand your rights under Florida law if an attorney fails to provide results or acts negligently. read more

Avoid this company. We hired this attorney for a legal matter. She charged more than others and kept sending invoices while doing almost nothing. She failed to file her appearance with the court -- which she was legally required to do after signing the agreement. She also inflated the hours worked and billed us for services that were never provided -- we have proof. We are currently taking legal action against her. Highly unprofessional.
