WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING HIRING ALAN REINFELD FOR A PROBATE MATTER:…read more Our experience was extremely disappointing and is the reason I feel compelled to warn others. We retained Alan in 2024 to handle a probate matter, and now in 2026, very little meaningful progress has been made. What should have been a straightforward legal process became years of delays, frustration, confusion, and lack of communication. Throughout the case, important details appeared to be overlooked, and court filings contained significant spelling and clerical errors that raised serious concerns about the level of care being given to our matter. Instead of feeling confident that our case was being actively managed, we were constantly left wondering what was happening. Communication was one of the biggest issues. Appointments were repeatedly rescheduled, updates were difficult to obtain, and when we asked specific questions about our case, we often received vague answers with little direction or strategy. Far too often, it felt like there was no clear understanding of the status of our matter. The experience in court was equally concerning. On multiple occasions, attorneys appeared on behalf of the firm who seemed unfamiliar with the details of the case. Most troubling was a recent pre-trial hearing where the legal team appeared so unprepared that the judge rescheduled the matter. As a client who had already waited years for progress, that was incredibly frustrating to witness. During the intake process, expectations were set that our case would receive attention and professional handling. Unfortunately, our experience after retaining counsel was very different. We frequently felt like we were chasing information rather than being represented and guided through the process. Had we known in advance that our case would experience this level of delay, disorganization, and lack of communication, we would have sought representation elsewhere. If you are considering hiring Alan Reinfeld for a probate matter, I strongly encourage you to do extensive research, ask detailed questions about case management and communication practices, and carefully consider your options before making a decision.
