Bright modern and airy reception. Friendly staff and a clear signage system. She was in a double room and but seperate Tv with a headphone system. Very impressed and where I'll go if I ever needed my bits sorted out!

It's a bit like the time I saw Paul McGrath in the gym and jumped on a treadmill just so that I could say that, technically, I've trained with Paul McGrath. It's a fantastic, modern building with modern equipment to match. I've had various scans here over the past year for things I didn't even know they could scan. I'm talking electrodes here people. The cafeteria seems nice but I don't think I've had anything more substantial than a bun and a cup of tea. It's certainly very colourful, I'll give them that. Access is easy, the bus from Eyre Square stops right in front of it. And for people like me who tend to fall asleep, the bus stops not a million miles behind it too.

A blonde nurse in green scrubs came into the room and was extremely rude, demanding that we leave. I refused due to her attitude, and she called security, who were actually very calm and professional. She then threatened to call the Gardaí on me. I had left my phone on a monitor beside my dad's bed while I stood on the opposite side of the room. The nurse picked up my phone, and despite me asking her five times not to touch my property, she eventually dropped it onto my dad's legs. The other staff I encountered were generally lovely, which made this interaction especially disappointing. I understand hospital rules, but there was absolutely no need for this level of hostility.

My mother was treated dreadfully in this hospital. It's fine…read morefor small procedures ir minor illness but she got passed from doctor to doctor,no answers..left for a week in the basement wards of hospital with people who had knee replacements etc and she was so so ill should have been somewhere comfortable with a bathroom nearby. We were told she wouldn't live longer than 2 weeks despite being told she was so healthy appart form the "treatable"illness she had after doing 6 weeks in there. We wanted to fulfill her wishes and bring her home to die..The galway clinic were to organise a hospital bed and oxygen for home and ordered from the wrong company that no longer worked with them so wasted 2 days on us.We were looking on donedeal for a bed because somehow private hospital couldn't seem to organise with the public system. We ordered an ambulance ourselves privately for mam as they wouldn't do that either. It was a horrendous experience and I would not out my worst enemy in there. The one star is for the few nice staff we did meet who know how messed up the place is..its just a buisness.

I had an Mri scan and referred to Dr Odhran Murray. Top class most caring and a total professional in every way. He went way and above what was required to get me the urgent care I needed. Examined me carefully and listened to everything I had to say. He thoroughly explained the serious problem I had and gave his very professional advice. I felt immediately he cared and I could trust him with my life. He also a thorough gentleman someone you can relate to immediately. He is a credit to his profession and a top class surgeon. Worst emergency room experience ever. Half the staff was rude and the other half were so distracted…read more(by their coworkers) that they neglected the patients who were in excruciating pain and trying to be nonverbal. Making lame excuses for me not accompany my partner while she waited for care. People smoking cigarettes at every entrance right next to the sign that says no smoking. Maybe it is because I'm used to a different level of health care? First and last trip to Ireland if this is what their health care system is like.
