But it all have its price, and at this premium located spot, you will pay its price, and you will be happy about it, even though you wont get any gold. It can get pretty crowded later on, so be there in time, to secure your night in glam. A perfect place to start off your night at, or drop in for a cocktail. The atmosphere is great and the ceiling height among with all the other details, will give you the classiness you deserve. Biggest con is that sofas and armchairs provide you too great comfort, so great, that you might end up sitting here all night. Sit down, have a drink, enjoy...

We got a nice chair to sit & very good professional service, they come to your table, take your order & bring your drink to the table. It was perfect for a chat & a drink with a friend. Music is neither too loud nor too crazy ( lounge music) & you get a decent chair to sit & keep your honor (by not having to crowd others in a cramped space at the bar & stretch half way to the other side of the bar to get the bar tender's attention!) The crowd is pretty mixed, there were mature & middle aged people, very young(20+) groups & some couples. If you are looking for somewhere to have a drink & chat (& be able to hear each other!) this is really nice place.

Pretty hard to find if your just walking the streets in Gamla Stan but so worth it if you find it. Excellent drinks and while we were there, they had a beer special that was up my alley- so to speak. We also enjoyed some smoked salmon for an appetizer that was awesome as well. Some colorful lights and a large umbrella with some space heaters help to take the chill out of the late summer nights. And the bartenders were spot on with a drink or beer when needed. Just what we needed after some full days of walking through the historic town that is so full of great things to see. It's not often I want to try something a second time, but this space deserves a return trip.

The seats, dim lights, and warm colors of the decor were super cozy. We had six courses which included a burger and different samplings of bacon. We had scrambled eggs with truffle and smoked salmon, which was incredible. Each small dish was very tasty and different. I also got a cocktail which was refreshing and really well made. For dessert there was a strawberry sambuca shake which was out of this world. I would definitely want to come back for dinner, but for a special occasion. The prices were a bit high (although I do think it's worth the price). Will definitely be back for drinks, though.

With every new place I visit, I'm always look for that perfect panoramic sky high view of the city. In Swedish "Himlen" means "Heaven". It also means the best free views of Stockholm. Well, its "free" if you're a penny pinching cheap ass budget traveler...take the elevator up to the 25th floor, hike up one more flight to the 26th floor, take a quick look, snap some unoriginal travel selfies, and go back to wherever the f**k your broke booty came from. Can't blame you, its gorgeous up here with great views of Stockholm from any angle. For those of you making over $100K/year, get yourself a reservation at a window side table at the fancy schmancy restaurant for some great views and hopefully equally great food. For those of making more than American minimum age but below $100K/year, grab a seat at the bar area. Order your drink of preference from one of the tattooed and bearded but handsome Viking hipster barmen. Draft beers are available for less than 70SEK, or be classier like my wife get a wine glass for 120+SEK. Maybe get the full meaty charcuterie plate for 195SEK; its loaded with cured meats and a couple cheeses, and fantastic. Ask for some free bread, its some of the best focaccia I've had. Drink, nosh, relax, and enjoy the sexy-mile-high-club level views of Stockholm. Perhaps come late in the afternoon, so you can gradually see Stockholm move from day light to night...at least order the cheapest beer if you're going to be hanging out in "Heaven" for that long...Swedish "Heaven" is a business after all.

Unfortunately it was snowing when I came here and didn't get much of the city view but I was able to snatch the coveted corner table over the entire city. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon blanc and this salmon/shrimp sandwich. They also provided bread as well and it was delicious! The wait staff here is super friendly and so nice! They all spoke English and was super welcoming and attentive! The food was amazingly fresh and the portions are HUGE! The dish I ordered was listed as a medium dish and I could BARELY finish half of it! You should definitely bring someone here if you plan on eating any of their food. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would definitely come here again to enjoy another glass of wine and the views.

Bar Nada is totally my kind of bar. Södermalm is a popular district for going out in with a bit of a scene, so when I heard we were going, I kept a cautious eye. But the bar came highly recommended from my friend's friend and she insisted we try it out. So I met up with her and her friends. Although it's in Södermalm it's just far enough away from the action to be awesome. Nada's tucked away on a quiet street and just on the border of the commercial area and the residential part. So few are likely to know about it. In fact, when I was trying to find this place, I asked some bouncers and locals where it was and no one had a clue. So that's a pretty good sign. When I arrived, the sign outside simply said 'BAR'. Inside it was cozy and quaint. Really high ceilings, so you didn't feel claustrophobic, but small nonetheless so you felt like you were at your neighborhood bar. The decor was great, minimalist, artsy, hip. I had a couple vodka tonics which were stiff and the bar staff was very friendly despite how crowded it got at points. The music was great, ranging from pop to lounge. The crowd was hip but unpretentious. It's the kind of place you go with friends to stand around and shoot the shit, but it's also the kind of place where I feel it would be conducive to meeting others later in the night in a casual laid back atmosphere. Could also see it as a place I'd start off the night. Really loved this place and definitely see myself going back.

Felt a bit like a college frat party. Almost skipped it, based on that underwhelming evening, but had to give it another shot late upon an icy and still midnight clear in January. Just amazing...Perfect soundtrack. Sat at the bar to watch the crew, which builds drinks with a bit of panache & showmanship. Started with their Whisky for the Holy Ghost and it was in fact a religious experience: Ghost bourbon, amaretto, Maurin Quina, bitters, salt and served in a chilled corked flask topped with smoke that lingered and really added to the ceremony & taste. My fellow penitents had tasty espresso drinks. It was the second round, however, that was truly memorable. I asked the mad genius behind the bar to concoct an extemporaneous "riff on a Sazerac." Maybe lost in translation, and ended up with more a riff on a vieux carre, but what a riff it was! Michters Rye, calvados in lieu of cognac, a healthy dose of some kind of floral bitters, a few other bitters and a sazeracky absinthe spritz.
