      Five-Year Customer -- Unfortunately, My Most Recent Experience Changed My Opinion…read more I was a Borro customer for approximately five years and previously had very positive experiences with the company. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has significantly changed my opinion. After my loan was paid, valuable property was shipped back to me. Some of my property was lost and/or damaged during the return-shipping process. I have attached photographs showing the actual condition in which one of the packages arrived. As the photographs show, a substantial portion of the shipping carton was torn open, with the contents exposed. I promptly reported the problems and provided information concerning the lost and damaged items. I have communicated repeatedly with Borro/Luxury Asset Capital regarding the matter and have been informed that claims were submitted or resubmitted to FedEx and were being pursued. More than six months have now passed, and I still have not received reimbursement for my lost and damaged property. I understand that shipping problems can happen. My concern is not simply that a shipping problem occurred. My concern is how long this has remained unresolved and that, after more than six months, I continue to bear the financial loss. I am posting this review and the accompanying photographs to accurately describe and document my personal experience so prospective customers can take it into consideration when deciding whether to entrust valuable property to the company. If Borro/Luxury Asset Capital ultimately resolves the outstanding claims, I will update this review to accurately reflect that resolution.

After paying a hefty amount of interest, I was left without my watch for weeks as it went to Rolex. In addition, the service, interest rates and staff are horrible. I have worked with other asset-backed lenders in the past, including DiamondBanc, and Borro is horrible. The CEO, Dewey Burke, is rude and unprofessional. I was promised a resolution, but never provided one. He is condescending and nasty.
