never use this company, i did a small business loan and used my house to sucure the loan, i was told the interestrate would by 18% to 21%, and the loan would convert to a line of after a short time. well that was a lie, later i found out that i was paying 91% interests, this is hidden in the contract now the company is foreclose on my home and i have to file capture 13bk to protect my home. the usury law does not apply cause the paper work state's wisconsin which is a state that does not acknowledge usury laws. don't let my f**k up happen to you. please please don't borrow from this company. if your local bank won't lend the money then you can't have it. read more

This place is a joke, and disorganized, they ask for the same information over and over again, making time to see how one can trust them and water forever for their decisions, time goes by, weeks go by, and lots of excuses for why they do not have answers, in my case I had to get bridge loans to make up for the time wasted with World Business Lenders, and I threatened a lawsuit a week later their excuse was that the price of my house was not there. 4 bedrooms, split-level baths two kitchens, two living rooms, and a large back deck overlooking 180 degrees over the entire bay area, they never came up with the price yet, but the house next door has two bedrooms, one bathroom, 1200 Sq ft sold last year for one million two hundred thousand, My house is 2900 Sq ft, so they turned me down. bate and switch The first offer was 275,000 then they came down to 145,000 dollars, they thought that I was desperate and accept any money they wanted at a very high interest. Stay far away from this company!! We borrowed $80,000 from this lender in April and they are now trying to extort $137,000 from us to pay off early. They are a predatory lender...Stay far far away. This company is a SCAM. They'll prey on your ignorance of the laws, will sell your contact info, will SPAM you any way they can and will NEVER remove you from their calling list. Did I mention- they'll call you every day, promising to remove you from their call list (but they never will). Companies like this are only legal because legislation is slow and the laws haven't caught up to them yet. read more

I didn't get a chance to experience the "predatory" mentioned in so many reviews because I was constantly lied to during most steps of their process. I'll explain... I applied as a new business, and explained during my first call that funding would be difficult as it was a new venture and my personal credit score had taken a hit due to some medical issues a few months back. I was assured that WBL could do things others couldn't because they were the direct lenders. Skeptical, I agreed to let them try. One week later I received a call from Joe Romano, a supervisor. He had great news! I was approved for $55,000. Then came the terms: 44% APR, payments of $387+ made DAILY by ACH transfer, for 9 months. I quickly crunched the numbers and though it was an extremely high interest rate, I figured it gave me the 4 months I needed to get my company to profitability and didn't bear the burden of a lifelong investment partner. I agreed. Joe said he would get the deal closed that evening (Monday night) and the funding would be available Tuesday morning. On Tuesday I got another call from Joe saying he needed additional bank statements (which were not yet available). Still I managed to get enough together to send along. Expecting money which did not come on Wednesday, I started with 2 calls and an email to both my original rep. and Joe....no response. Thursday was the same result. Finally in desperation I used my Google phone number and SURPRISE, my rep picked up the phone. He said he was "just leaving" but would call me later. No call, but instead I received a text forwarded from Joe saying they could not fund me personally for a business loan. On Friday my rep. sent an additional text saying there was nothing anyone at WBL could do. Only slightly surprised at this stage, I asked my rep. why Joe had lied to me on at least 3 occasions by saying I was approved and my funding would be available the following day. And then saying they couldn't fund an individual for a business (b.s. by the way), but also exactly what I had told them would be necessary on Day 1 of my dealings. I would find it hard to believe that their practices do not result in any laws being broken. Companies should not be allowed to state that a loan is approved unless it is truly approved...and not at the 70% approval stage. For people who are looking for money, this is a conundrum; if your credit score is high enough you will never consider this company. If your credit is sub-par, WBL will feel free to charge near-usurious rates, lie, and not return calls/texts/emails if they so choose. I will forward this concern to the appropriate state Attorneys Generals to see what can be done about forcing WBL to become professional. read more

They refused to explain how a business owner can be told they are approved then not be. And, there is no consequences for reps that lie to prospective borrowers. Run as fast as you can this business is in business by scamming people with ridiculous loans. They were trying to put me into a $12,500 10 year loan at 94% at a 10% upfront fee after saying they give 2 to 3 times your monthly revenue. I bring in 13k a month and they offer me $12,500 plus they're going to take 10% up front $1250.00. Leaving me and my business with $11,250. After 10 years at there payment of $960.23 a month times the 10 years come to $115,227.60 World Business Lenders will make off of leaning $12,500 ridiculous!!!! I will not recommend this place at all! I went there for a job and they treated me like a number. Further research proves to me that this business is not employee focused, let alone customer focused. Thus, I will not recommend this place to conduct business or to work! Get this, I had a portfolio to review, and they did not want to review my portfolio? Thus, the question begs as to how skill and professional they are with either their employees or customers? Don't be decisive by the location. Go to their F/B page and you will see what I am saying. It does not tell me anything of value about this place. They never took the time to work on their F/B for gods sake. Thus, as soon as a I got there I felt it was a fly by night operation. This company is predatory and uses tactics that would not be legal in any regulated financial business. They promised quick funding, sent me an approval letter, but two months later, we still don't have money as they keep changing the terms and I won't agree to the changes. Run from these guys. They are slick in their sales pitch, but don't deliver as promised. Interest rates of 100%+ are actually not the worst problem here. They want money upfront for title searches, will only use their preferred title company who got it wrong three times in a row, and expected me to keep paying for more title searches. Do not use this company. They are predator lending at it's finest. I was a stressed out business owner who was naive enough to believe the sales pitch that they had the best rates. now i am stuck with a weekly payment i can't afford at 99% interest. My property is in jeopardy of being foreclosed on. No matter how much stress you may be under owing bills, DO NOT use this company, you will be worse off and most likely never get out of the debt. read more
