Tech was rough, broke skin with drill and rude. Work station was dirty and brush she was using was filthy.

Not sure why all the reviews are so poor but when you look at them- they are literally all from 4+ years ago! This place is always pretty quiet & I rarely see any cars parked in the lot. The first nail place I started going to when I moved up here- is wonderful but a lot further away then this one. This nail salon is much closer to where I live and therefore a lot more convenient for me to go to- so I decided to walk in on a whim on Valentine's Day after work. They immediately asked me to pick a color & and took me right away for my pedicure. I decided on the middle pedicure- at $46 which included hot stones, a massage, and paraffin wax. I also got a gel French pedicure (which is what I always get) and for the gel and the French- the total was $62 which is definitely a lot cheaper then I normally pay for a pedicure! I left a $12 tip so $75 total for this pedi! I usually pay between $70-$95 for a pedicure with the same (massage, hot stones, paraffin wax). They had nice massage chairs, and the staff was nice although my tech had issues with understanding English- not that I cared. I think overall she did an amazing job on my feet, albeit it felt a tad bit rushed! The massage isn't as long as it's been at other places, the hot stones and paraffin also felt a little rushed. But overall it was really good experience/pedicure & my feet came out perfect! I love the way they look and I would definitely return here! I'm surprised more people don't come here! They do a great job and the prices are very competitive! I wanted to give 4 stars but I'm going to round up to a 4.5 star review for 5 stars! read more

I am very happy with the way my manicure and pedicure came out. I was there for almost 2 hours, with complete attention from one person. This was amazing because most times I feel like they rush you out to get the next person in. I recommend going in the morning or mid day if you would like their full attention. I paid $50 for tips and gel, which seems reasonable to me. And $35 for a regular pedicure with regular polish. The nail industry has gotten pricy over the last few years especially, but I feel like for the service that was provided, this was a fair price. I have been many times before but today I felt very pampered and like my time and money was actually worth it. McNails was recommended by two colleagues, recently. I visited twice this summer and had gel powder nails applied both times. The staff is friendly, but speak little English. I had a different technician at each visit but both technicians use "dirty dipping" with the gel powder. They use a communal jar of powder and repeatedly dip customers' nails into it. At the second visit, the technician tried to grind off the gel polish and burned my nail. I had to insist that she use foil to soften and remove the polish. This is a longer process, I suppose, and costs her time ( and money). I wanted to like and support this business but look elsewhere. read more

I have been going here for 2 years and I love my nail tech and my nails look fabulous every time I leave! Yes it gets very busy on a Saturday so I would highly recommend making a appointment so you don't get upset if you have to wait a little bit for someone to be available. I went to get my eyebrows done before prom, and they burned my eye lids. Ripped a layer of skin off and now they burn, will probably scab and I have pork in 3 days. Do NOT recommend. They lady who did them said "Wow your face gets really red." Like typically I do not get red only if the wax is too hot, which it wasn't and everything was fine. Until she proceeded to put this gel on and it burned really bad. And then left my face like this. read more

Not sure why this place has some bad reviews, this place was great and for a basic pedicure at $25 that included a hot stone massage I'm sold and will be back! The technician was super friendly, didn't speak much English but she knew how to do her job and was happy while she did it. Place was clean, busy and my toes look beautiful! i went in about a week ago and already all of my nails popped off. definitely not worth 58 dollars. the nail techs were nice, but the quality of the service was no where near what it should be. i'm so irritated and my nails hurt, from them popping off. the nails are now paper thin, and i'll need to go get them redone elsewhere because of how soft and sad they are. highly disappointed. read more

Went there today and as someone who went through cosmetology school and has education in infection control this salon is absolutely disgusting. The towel on the station looked like it had been used all day, I watched the nail tech break the neck of the nail polish bottle off the rest of the way, dip the brush in and apply it to my nails, none of their tools were a sanitized, and all files were previously used. I payed for two services that were $35 and $55 so please tell my why they took $106 off my card?! read more

I have been here many times for pedicures and they do a great job! Basic pedicure is $30 and comes with a hot stone massage. Tons of colors to choose from....gel, dip or regular polish. They have about 10 pedicure chairs. Every nail tech I've had is very thorough with my pedicure so i can't complain. Never got my nails done here but there is always lots of people so they must be just as good. read more

I enjoy getting my nails painted. Everyone is very friendly and the prices aren't that expensive.

My daughter and I like to get manicures together and decided to try MD Nails. They rushed through my manicure, were very rough when cutting cuticles and hand massage, and really hurt for both me and my daughter, my color is not consistent and there are black bubbles under the polish. They rushed me trough finding a color, and it was not a pleasant experience. I will never go back here. read more

I made a appointment for 2 full set acrylic first thing in the morning. When I got there I was told that they would do one at a time, which really isn't a big deal. So they made my friend wait. But they took walk-ins instead of taking a appointment that was already made. The lady who was doing my nails wasn't gentle. I had sprained my wrist a couple weeks prior and my wrist was still sore. She was twisting my hand and I politely told her that she was hurting my wrist and she still did it. I will never go back to them. read more

So, I've been here quite a bit with my mom to get our monthly pedis. I love the new owners. The two younger girls are funny and talkative and do a great job, but other than that I haven't really had anyone else from the new staff. My mom always has Anne and absolutely loves the pedis she gives. MC Nails is a little rough with their pedicures (lost a star because of that). Other than that, MC Nails is a good, cheap place in our area that is comfortable happy, and relaxing to get your nails done. read more

I've had my nails and toes done here a couple times. I've not yet been impressed. One of my pedicures - it was not possible to have cut my nails down any shorter. If the woman had, I would have bled. I'm sorry, but that's too short! I didn't go for a pedicure for 2 months after that because it took that long for my nails to grow to a reasonable length! But they do a decent job. Just nothing fabulous, that's all. My girlfriend seems to like them - she gets tips and her eyebrows done there as well. read more

They do an exceptional job with pedicures (only thing I come here for so I can only speak of this service) and I will continue to come to this salon for pedicures! Wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE 5 stars!!! I've been here a number of times before, however I will be sure to NEVER return again after my visit tonight!!! Beyond mad that I threw $25 away to have my nails look WORSE than if a child had painted them!!! 1) First the lady filed my nails down to almost nothing! Thanks a lot! Now it'll be a month before they grow back to the length they were when I walked in the door! 2) Then the lady cut the side of my ring finger causing it to bleed! 3) Next, she attempted to paint my nails. All 3 coats of polish she somehow managed to get paint on my fingers, by my knuckle and on my wrist! Then she DUG her nail into my skin every time she painted one trying to get the polish off of my skin. I was to the point of telling her to just STOP as I couldn't take it anymore! Here's the manicure I paid $25 for and had no choice to leave with! I will be contacting the owner tomorrow that's for sure!!! I visit here frequently for pedicures and gel manicures. They always do a great job. The staff is fantastic!

Musical chairs anyone?! I called and made an appointment for my girl friend and I an hour ahead so when we show up for our appointment we would be seated immediately. We got there we had to wait 20 min which is not a problem. Reason for me to write a bad review was because once we were seated they had us moved from station to station at least four times! I don't get to see my girl friend often and I just wanted us to spend some time together and relax. But with the constant moving around we started to get annoyed and eventually our experience with MC Nails went down hill. The woman who was doing my nails did a horrible job because she was rushing the whole time (I understand they were busy but it just felt like they cant wait for you to leave). All the while my girl friend who drove a long distance to have her nails done was not impressed by their service either. I will not be returning, and neither is she. read more

I always get my eyebrows waxed here whenever I am back in town. It is $7 and it is the cheapest and best around. They are quick to get you in and out of there and they always do a great job at tidying up my eyebrows and make them natural looking. read more
