If I could give this place no starts I would. I'm really upset with the pricing and how my nails came out. The nail lady I had was super rough I told her 4 times to please be gentle when doing my pedicure and full set. She maybe me bleed on 3 fingers but cutting too much. My nails were done today and they already look like I need a fill, online the pricing said $70 and I ended up paying $115 I honestly don't know how and when I asked they lady stuttered and said it was what I got that made the cost when I got a full set dip which online says $35 and the pedi said $35 as well. I'd rather they update the prices online but my nails honestly don't look as good as $115 should have got me. I also told the lady about the gaps she left in my nails and she didn't respond. read more

I decided to try this place out since it was closer to my house in Glocester RI rather then heading into town (Smithfield, Johnston, etc) & I'm sooo glad I did because it was honestly one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten!!! I was really impressed with the pedicure AND a huge plus was the price was AMAZING as well! I did go with one of the deluxe spa pedicures- I can't remember the name maybe a "jelly pedicure" but it had "little bubbles" in the tub- almost like "orbeez" if you're familiar with those! It felt so cool on my feet. I really liked it! They also pushed my cuticles back, trimmed, filed/buffed my toenails, & they also removed the skin from the bottoms of my feet. This pedicure included paraffin hot wax, possibly hot stones (can't remember), a massage, & it was in a massaging chair- it honestly was wonderful. The nail tech was super nice & friendly. It was a little extra for the gel pedicure but WORTH IT because it lasts 5x longer- then a regular pedicure and It does not chip! It looked beautiful. It was also a little extra for a French pedicure as well- which is fine because I prefer it. Overall I was very impressed with the way my pedicure came out and it's over a month later and it still looks AMAZING. I finally found a new nail place! I'll see you guys in a week or so! read more

I was not pleased at all with the service I received from Tina @ Nail Envy Salon. If I could have given minus 5 stars, that would have been a more accurate rating. I'm visiting my daughter, and thought it would be fun to get pedicures. I'm blind, so I cannot visually critique the results, but I can tell you that Tina was very rough, and she cut my nails extremely short. Enough to be in pain & discomfort. They are very rough, and the polish is uneven. When we got back home, my granddaughter questioned why she cut my nails so short, and did not file them, after polishing them? I don't know why she cut them after polishing them. Maybe she thought I was blind, so it did not matter!!! I'm quite sure I could have received a better pedicure from a student for the $37.50. I will find another salon with a more qualified, compassionate technician that enjoys her job! read more

I really wanted to like this place since it's closer to my house then going into Providence, but it's not worth it at all. The woman who did my nails obviously spoke very limited English, which made it really difficult to communicate what I wanted, and to add to the communication barriers, I could barely hear her. I asked her several times to speak up, but after the third or fourth time, I gave up. I had to point out multiple times what shape I wanted my nails, what I came in to get done, and had to ask her to re-file them a few times. I even had to give up what I had come in to originally get (a colorful, ombre french tip with a square shape) because she couldn't understand me. The final nail in the coffin was that she cut me too, and now I have a cut to watch on my thumb. To top it all off, I only found out AFTER everything was finished that I hadn't even been handed off to the nail tech I had made my appointment with to begin with! I originally scheduled with Kia and was given to Tina instead. I had specifically chosen Kia since I had seen her work online and knew she could do what I had in mind. The only reason that I didn't rate the experience lower is because literally everyone else but my nail tech was great, and despite the language barrier, my nails came out okay enough. I'm just disappointed because some areas definitely look goopy, they missed a few spots of my previous gel polish, and I'm concerned about how quickly this set may chip. There's also bubbles and debris stuck in the clear coat. I don't think I'll be coming back here. :( EDIT: So, after returning here for three more manicures... My points more or less still stand. This place is totally average, and gives manicures that you could easily do at home on your own time. I even got a non-gel manicure at my last appointment and left the salon with still-wet nails, even after sitting under a fan for ten minutes. It was most likely because the tech didn't wait for any of my base coat or top coat to dry. I DO think what this salon suffers from that effects them the most is being overbooked. Every tech is working on multiple people all the time, at least 2 clients per tech. The salon also suffers from a lack of cleanliness. I was once seated at a station with a WET towel to rest my hands on, and I don't think I've ever seen a clean station in general. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

Would not recommend, just got my nails done there and the woman who did them made my hand look like a murder scene. My fingers were bleeding and she kept going and putting my fingers into the dip powder. There's blood in my top coat, and I'm still in a lot of pain 3 hours later. My BFF was getting married so we went online and booked matching appointments to have our nails, ect done together. When I got there all the technicians were busy so my friend was able to start her nails and they told me to wait till she was done that there was no one available. I made an Appointment!! They apparently gave someone else my spot and had me waiting over 1/2 hr until I walked out. Appointment was 5:15. They took a 5:30 and a 5:45 and didn't even ask me I needed feet nails and wax. They could of started me on something. Not to mention I had to get a sitter for my little ones to go to the salon after work. I was so upset. My little girl wanted her nails painted so bad and she was in tears too. I painted my nails myself for the wedding the next day they came out crappy. DONT get the jelly pedicure. It's like putting your feet in a bowl of cold grits. It is seriously gross and not in the least bit relaxing, or warm. I only chose it because I wanted the paraffin wax. My cuticles were not even pushed back and the cuticle cutting was not to par. Came here once before and it was good, but not a sure ill be back again. I don't go to nail salons often but was gifted a certificate for this place. It was amazing!! My friend and I both got the therapeutic pedicure. We didn't have an appointment but we didn't have to wait at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Many other salons I've gone to in the past have tried to persuade me to tack on more services for extra money. The staff here didn't do that at all, which was surprising and pleasant. The pedicure was amazing, we sat in massaging chairs, and my feet have never been softer. I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed while I was there and I'm very happy with this service as well. Unfortunately a very disappointing visit. I got a full set of acrylics done May 11. My nail tech never cleaned my nail beds instead went straight to filing which I thought was odd. So my nails were never trimmed or filed. Nor were my cuticles pushed back. The acrylic was very sloppy. I'm not a nail tech myself but I know the acrylic should not just ooze off my nail bed while it is being applied. Acrylic was stuck under my nails due to the sloppy application. When it came to shaping he didn't ask me the length or style just did his own thing which ended up being square. The tops of my nails were chunky on one half and thin on the other. Very inconsistent and did not follow a natural nail curve. Anyways I left decently disappointed. The story gets worst. When I decided to remove the acrylics which would normally come off quit easily with 100% acetone I realized this nail salon is more than likely using MMA. For those who don't know it's an illegal bonder. Reasons for thinking this is the gooey consistency the product left behind. I worked 3 hours filling my nails only to be left with defeat. This process should have only taken an hour. Not to mention the smelly odor the filling left. For those who don't know the side effects of MMA I suggest you look it up but I'm quite disappointed. At first I thought I'd go back and try a different nail tech but now I will never return. read more

I have been here twice for dip powder and both times it has been a great experience. The powder isn't too thick and it doesn't chip/crack/break for 3 weeks when I am really rough on my nails. I only need to get it re-done due to grow out. It's reasonably priced. The first time I went I had an appointment but I did have to wait 10-15 minutes past my appointment time to be seen because it was very busy. I was excited to try this place seeing as how I'm hope for break and it's so close to my house. I was going in excepting to get a nail extension and a neutral color. It took them 45 min to sit me after my nail appointment time and when I sat down everything seemed ok. I got the dip powder and a nail extension. They didn't cut my cuticles or any of the dead skin around my nails. The color I chose is not what I got and is very shear. There is leftover glue on my fingers not what I expected. read more

I was going to be in the area so I made an appointment for a powder manicure, still had to wait 10 minutes but that's fine as it was a rainy Saturday afternoon so to be expected. The gentleman who did my nails didn't talk to me at all not even to ask how I wanted my nails shaped or if I wanted them shorter, which I did. He made them square and uneven, even though they were round before he started. My thumb and pinky are not smooth, I have clear nail polish all over my fingers, it cost $35 for the powder and the manicure is not included in the price. I won't be back. read more

My fears were put at ease when I walked in and I was asked to fill out a covid screening, they took my temp, sanitized my hands, and touched everything for me so I wouldn't have to touch anything. Usually Nail Envy is very good.. But unfortunately due to the owner I will not be going back! I just recently moved to the area and decided I would support local business instead of going back to my hometown but apparently that was a mistake.. This past Tuesday was the first anniversary of my Father's passing so I decided I would do something to make day a little better and I needed a fill anyways.. I have been to Nail Envy with this being my 3rd visit.. I usually always get the spa pedicure which does a wonderful job on feet.. I gave the girl my info about which pedicure I wanted and other services I got that day. I sat down in the chair and she started working on my feet.. The girl didn't talk to me or listen when I noticed imperfections. I didn't feel very pampered or catered too.. than we did my nails and she didn't know how to do the design I wanted and blamed my nail length.. than I got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed and I had to look over her work and noticed she had missed a bit of hair on my upper lip.. I noticed when I got home that my heels were still very dry and cracked not how they are usually.. so I sent them a Facebook message and they asked what they could do to resolve the situation.. i than called and spoke to a very nice girl named Katie who said the owner would call me back. She never did so I called and spoke with her myself.. she than in turn decided to blame me saying I seemed fine and happy when I left! That's not the point I noticed when I got home and let you know and you offered to resolve the issue.. Not a good nail salon to support! The owner doesn't care if you don't feel catered to or made to feel special its only about the money which is very sad! Not a great way to welcome someone to a nicd community! I saw this place on my drive through town. Decided to check it out after a long work week. It's amazing. The employees are so pleasant from the moment you walk in, helping you decide what you are looking for. I went for the whole shebang and got the spa pedicure on my visit. $55 for an hour long pedicure. It includes the basic soak, scrub and polish but also included hot stone massage, paraffin wax, leg mask and massage with your choice of spa scents. It was heavenly. They offer a rewards program for clients, giving back 10% of your purchases to go towards future visits. It doesn't get any better than that. This past Saturday was my first appointment at Nail Envy. I wanted a French dip powder manicure. I noticed two days later that the areas near my cuticles are lifting. If I run my finger through my hair the hair strands get caught underneath. Three days and I'm looking at it and it's sloppy. After a less than favorable experience at a couple other salons I decided to try Nail Envy. This place is the BEST. I made an appointment online and they took me on time. Clean and friendly. The best part was a pain free experience. And I've got calluses. My provider took his time, took the calluses down. No friction burns! The manicure was pretty good. I got the dip powder yesterday but unfortunately it was filed down a little too much where in some spots there is no color and my thumb nail already has a crack in the powder. I love the shape of my nails and overall I do like the color. I like that the powder is not too thick as I have gotten it very thick at other places it's just that some nails like I said where drill filed too much not leaving enough of the powder. And the top coat polish that they used scuffs very easily leaving the polish with marks on a new manicure. The place is clean and staff is very friendly, willing to give the place another shot. read more

Nomally, I really love going to this salon, but the last time I went, I wasn't satisfied. I got the dip powder color manicure, and I loved the color choices (I chose brown), but the job was done messily. When I left, all of the skin around my cuticles was stained, and even my fingerprints were brown for a few hours. I once wrote a review back in beginning November (first time, good review). Sad to say I will not be returning here. Obviously each tech is different, but I have had tried mtiple times with the gel polish (3xs..) all peeled off with in a week ("everyone's nails take to it different" they say...ok I accept that) so I wanted basic acrylic fill, regular polish...kept trying to push me back onto gel polish or the "new dip"..after beining persistent, I got the regular acrylic and normal polish. No clean up of fingers nails..nothing...end result is they look like I did them.
