Hello, I am Heather McAfee, owner of McAfee’s Bookkeeping. I began my professional journey as an engineer, gaining experience in a range of industries such as manufacturing, systems design, and government contract projects. Over the course of 20 years, I worked for several large companies, which provided me with a strong foundation in technical and organizational processes. After two decades in engineering, I yearned for more meaningful interactions and practical involvement in business operations. I was motivated by the desire for continuous growth and wanted to leverage my intellectual and organizational strengths in new ways. This led me to bookkeeping, a field where I could apply my technical expertise, analytical mindset, and mathematical skills to benefit businesses and organizations.
