They've thought about every detail for comfort and community. There's a cozy mother's/nursing lounge, free coffee, and even a small bookstore. The people are friendly and genuinely welcoming. Her talk centered around how loneliness was becoming so prevalent in our society and she came into her talk with all kinds of statistics. Well, she certainly nailed me it's one of the reasons I went to church that day. Instead of getting a message of hope from the Bible I got a lecture from Portland State University that was full of stats. Yep, she hit the nail on the head, I am one of those statistics.
