Nevertheless, Springwood cemetery is a lovely place to let your carcass rot into eternity, mainly because it's so large, big enough to necessitate a trio of chapels. It's the closest thing this city has to those vast European places with a thick forest of headstones and complex stone memorials, most of them standing above incredibly famous corpses. Springwood is a lush, organised cemetery that is pleasant to walk around, but if you're out for a stroll there's much less morbid places nearby that you could just go to instead. Otherwise there's a danger you'll glance a funny name on a tombstone and giggle in front of a funeral. And that's just awkward.

Worst of all, I had to write the next day to generate any kind of response to the day's events. Utterly unprofessional but, hey, they don't give a damn at £4k a go

The Everton Cemetry location is confusing because it is not based in Everton; it is actually in…read moreFazakerly. Likewise with Anfield Cemetry - it is more closer to Everton than it is to Anfield. So, this is puzzling to say the least. Anyhow, Everton Cemetry is as good as most other cemetries in terms of the space it offers. There is a busy main road that outskirts its perimeter but as you walk further into to graveyard, it does get more tranquil. One thing I did notice, is that a minority of the headstones had fallen over which suggests the space is vulnerable to high winds or the stones weren't installed properly. This is obviously not such a good sign. However, I did not see any evidence of vandalism. As the area is concerned, if you don't have your own transport, it isn't a convenient destination to arrive at since there aren't many buses that run frequently. Apart from that, it appears that there are still plenty of spaces for future burials!

Not much you can write about for a cemetary.the grounds are well looked after and cared for.I have…read morebeen here many times.It is just off a main busy roads close to a school.There is ample parking and plenty of places to rest on benches and sit with loved ones.There is a flower store just inside that sell the most beautiful flowers.The groundstaff when i have seen are very polite and always helpful.The cemetary is well laid out and planned well and gravestones are easy to find I would give this place a 6/10 dont know if its because its too morbid to think about

The staff and vehicles are so well turned out and professional on the day of the funeral we were not thinking straight at all just the simple question at our house have we got our words if we need to talk, do we need the loo before leaving and the house keys dont forget them, they thought of everything right down to a personalised cd of the music that we could keep and use for the get together afterwards. Nothing was too much for them to do and I mean nothing. I hope I dont see them soon though!

This firm is very well known locally, very well respected. Sadly, I have had occasion to be…read moreinvolved with them as a customer. I found some parts of their service were wonderful - viewings arranged at short notice, a visit to the house to arrange the Order of Service, a colour photograph easily inserted, and a second visit to the house to show the proof of the Order of Service. That was wonderful, very helpful, and their attitude was also second to none. The waitiing area at the premises leaves a little to be desired, but the premises themselves are so beautiful, and so private, that thatsa small price to pay. All I'm referring to is that there didn't seem to be any way to get any privacy, there were no partitions of any sort, which I would have expected, to be honest. The only problem we encountered was one that only I dealt with: on the very morning of the event, they said that they'd lost the only copy of the music that was to be played. In fact they hadn't, it was in the place it was supposed to be, whereas they'd been looking in a different place (one has to ask, why?). Thats the only niggle, but it has stuck in my mind for some little while now. Its very minor, however, and in general the level of empathy and service we received was excellent.
