Absolutely dreadful moving company…read more The estimate they initially quote is half what they will charge. They double the charge on your card without informing you. Extremely stressful experience on the day. Blaming us for not booking correctly when in fact the fault lay with the booking person on the phone who did not correctly do their job. The guys doing the move informed us that this regularly happens. They almost left our house with half of our contents still in the house. We ended up having to pack at least 1/3 of our stuff ourselves and move it in our cars. I believe their business model is to give people incorrectly low estimates so you book them then they double the price without making it clear to you what is happening and to also blame you for their scam. NEVER USE!!

The only saving grace were the drivers who were helpful and generally nice guys. The truck was booked for 2pm- we had 3 pallet loads to be pallet trucked on and a couple big fridges, ready and waiting, should have taken 1 hour to load. At 2pm they rang and said an hour delay. At 4pm we rang they said 10-15m. At 4.30 we rang and they said they would call straight back. At 4.45 we rang again and they were at our billing address rather than the specified pick up address. We asked the driver- "just having one of those days hey?" And he said he was only asked on the job at 3pm! Someone was lying to us somewhere to cover incompetence. The other complete cock ups were we specifically asked for a certain width and depth so as to fit our items, nobody could tell us what measurements the trucks were. We were assured it's was an 8 foot tail lift with 8 foot width. Turns up, complete with other people's junk (pallets, furniture) still inside and only measures 7.5. A farce. Stay away.

Punctual, super organised, great communication, beautiful vans, incredibly hard working and go above and beyond each time. They are also very good value and I haven't had a breakage yet, in fact Frankie has even helped me to repair furniture that I had broken or loose through wear and tear and left it better than before it was moved! He fixed a shelf that was loose on a bookcase and a desk after the move! I wholeheartedly recommend Moving Line if you want your move done right!, Frankie and the team are brilliant.
