It's a couple of businesses south of the large Redstone Federal Credit Union on South Parkway, south of Drake. Elissa was located in downtown Huntsville when I last met with her in 2002, and this location has easy parking, less traffic and a much nicer waiting room area, also! The drawback is the office is branded as "Daniels Law, LLC" and "Suzette E. Daniels" with no signage for "Elissa Green" inside or outside. Ms. Green's website and google listing display her previous downtown office location, so it can be a little confusing locating her, although her staff were good to give me the new address on L&N drive. Elissa is a local Huntsvillian and has practiced law over thirty years. She practices general litigation, family law, criminal defenses, divorces, and general legal services. I retained her for wills for my husband and me back in 2002 and needed to wrap up this process, and consult with her about potential trusts and quit claim deeds. Since everything is so expensive these days, I anticipated her consultation fee increasing since my last appointment with her and surprisingly it had not, it is still $100.00/hour with a fee charged for debit cards (and maybe a fee for credit cards) and zero fees for cash/check payments. Elissa is easy to communicate with and talks at a level a five year old could understand. She explained the local probate process, and did not try to "upsell" the Hubs and me on any additional legal services we were asking about. She carefully explained the next steps in the wills/medical wishes related paperwork process and we were on our way in around 35 minutes. I'm happy her firm emails the will paperwork to us for our approval and we have one more in person meeting to sign/initial documents. I recommend Elissa Green for your general legal issues/questions/concerns. She is honest, easy to communicate with, and has an easy process to complete to get your will/medical wishes paperwork done!

The letter lacked substantive factual information and, in my opinion, reflected poorly on the attorney's professionalism. Here are my observations based on this particular instance: 1. **Lack of Factual Basis**: The correspondence appeared to contain unfounded assertions with no supporting evidence. It felt as though the primary motivation was financial gain rather than a pursuit of justice. 2. **Inappropriate Conduct**: The attorney's documentation seemed to condone inappropriate behavior, such as a significantly older adult texting a minor with whom he has no familial relation. This is deeply concerning and should be unacceptable to anyone aware of the risks associated with child predators. 3. **Encouragement of Double Standards**: The attorney appeared to support double standards in co-parenting, disregarding the fact that both parents have 50/50 joint legal and physical custody of their children. 4. **Disregard for Cooperative Efforts**: It seemed that the attorney placed little value on efforts to work cooperatively for the benefit of the children and all parties involved. The focus appeared to be solely on her client's desires, with little regard for fairness. This attorney also appears to condone their client utilizing email communications that are based in foreign countries in order for the client to circumvent United States subpoena laws and practices. 5. **Aggressive Tactics**: The attorney's approach included threats of legal action and arrest, which I found counterproductive to fostering cooperation and resolving disputes amicably. 6. **Unprofessional Communication Techniques**: The letter sent by this attorney included a "PS" section, typically known as a postscript addition to a document. I could find no instance where this is practical or deemed appropriate in legal documentation, nor could I find any professional legal document where this technique was utilized. It made it seem as if the client had written the letter and the lawyer just sent it with no regard to how unprofessional that technique would be perceived. In a city like Huntsville, I believe there are better options available for those seeking legal representation in a divorce. This is, of course, my humble opinion based on my experience.
