I just received a call from Eric Artrip whom sounded very upset and I ended up hanging the phone up…read moreon him because I had no desire to hear the lies he accused me of nor his rude tone and interrupting me. Jillian the receptionist is a rude liar. Apparently this woman took it upon herself to lie to Mr.Artrip about our conversation this morning. I tried to explain to Atrip just that but he said "it doesn't matter anymore". When he said that and hearing his tone I wanted to hear no more and hung up when he said he was closing the case. Firstly I sent Mr.Artrip an email about our in person consult on 8/13. I left the consult confused and had questions that had been on my mind all day afterward. So I emailed him about it. Mind you I had spent a week wrecking my brain over the situation and anxious to speak with a lawyer. I spent about a whole day compiling all of the evidence I had against my employer. I felt confident I had a cut and dry solid case of harassment and discrimination they have been doing to me. So I make the 1 1/2 hr drive to Huntsville and meet with Mr.Atrip. Now on their website under Artrip's bio it says he specializes more in consumer complaints against companies and personal injuries. So when I called and spoke with ONE person named (Artrip said I spoke with several people in the office which wasn't true) Jillian who took about 2 mins to answer the phone all I asked was why was I put with a personal injury/consumer complaint lawyer when my case is regarding management at my job harassing me and that Ms.Mastando's bio said she is one of the top employee complaint lawyers. Jillian sounded annoyed but explained how they work together etc etc. I did ask more questions which seemed to annoy her but she explained and after a while kept saying she is not lawyer and she's not going to go against the advice of the attorneys. I said OK have a nice day and we both hung up. That's it and there were no bad words said about Artrip. If they record their calls then pull the call and listen to it. On that call I NEVER once spoke down about Mr.Atrip, talked bad about him, or questioned his experience. I let her know I was confused, asked was anyone going to look at the evidence I put together, etc? What I can say is Jillian is not a very good customer friendly person. She speaks very low, talks over you, sounds annoyed, semi laughs at you while she's trying to explain, and just overall sounds miserable and annoyed. One would have felt the way I felt if you had evidence to prove your employer refuses to hire you for positions they openly post and recruit online for and you know this because you created a fake resume, applied for the positions, and was offered the positions as the fake person. Which I supplied call logs between the recruiter and I, I have voicemails of her offering me as the fake person the job, but your potential lawyer says "it would be hard to prove" lol. Yet in the same breath praised you for doing that detective work. I also supplied proof of emails and dates of various complaints I filed against certain management and the HR generalist that falsely wrote me up. Yet he still said "it would be hard to prove". Then tells me to go to the EEOC but explains they won't do anything because they don't have the resources lol. With that said would you not question or have confidence in a lawyer that you provide written proof that would show why you're being harassed at your job, transferred without putting in for one, and they tell you basically there's nothing he can do, you don't have a case and go to the EEOC. If that's not what he said as he said in a reply email and over the phone to me then he should have taken the time to explain better, not rush, don't yawn, and dig in your ears during a consult. It's very nasty, unprofessional, and unbecoming. Let's be honest he used the phone conversation between Jillian and I as an excuse to close the case because he wasn't confident in HIS abilities as a lawyer to prove my case. Next time be upfront and honest with your intentions or lack of.
