I appreciate that they keep overhead low to maintain the best prices in the area! They DO spend money on the latest, most advanced equipment for the various tests that are the hallmark of a thorough eye exam. The doctor was personable and genuine in addition to being the consummate professional. The receptionists were outstanding and ran the office with respectful consideration towards fellow staff to ensure the customers an optimal experience. And optimal it was! On the eyeglass side of the store, I was greeted by James and Carribean who offered their expert opinions on what style looked best for my face shape. They too, were super pleasant and knew their stuff! My new glasses were ready in two days. I was allowed to bring my frames, and they only charged me for the lenses and nothing more. They hit a home run at the first fitting. There's a reason that they have been established in the same office space all of these years. Long before Yelp, Pal has withstood the test of time because of their fine reputation amongst those of us in the area who have shared our experiences via word of mouth in our community over the years. Apparently, people in Lexington, KY are really on top of their eye health. It is next to impossible to get an appointment unless one takes time off from work. I have never seen a place so busy. I went through the whole exam process and I was helped every step of the way. The entire process had taken like 49 minutes! They were both very customer focused, always making sure they gave me their full, undivided attention and I mean none of that, looking at the computer and answering. Full on eye contact. That is superb customer service. But I have to write that I will miss Dr. Santos; however, I am sure she would be so pleased at how these individuals helped me today.

Small Negative = 9 Hours WAITING WAITING WAITING. Asked to show up 15 min prior to Appointment & waited 1 hour in Lobby for first evaluation. Surgery Day it was 2 hours waiting in the Lobby & 1 hour waiting on Bed in Prep Room. Surgery 5 min & another 5 min out the door. Add 1 hour waiting in Lobby for another Doctor to evaluate Surgery the next day results in 9 hours waiting waiting waiting.
