Top notch service, totally hassle free, and they loaned us a crew car to take up to the museum.

I would give Abdul and his Airport Town Car Service 10 stars if I could. Here's why I thought I…read morereceived top-notch service: - Responsive -- Abdul responded to inquiries, emails, and updates quickly. - Hassle-free -- We established a price and it was fixed; no bait-and-switch, no hidden surcharges. - Flexible -- My evening arrival flight was delayed by more than 4 hours, stretching well into the middle of the night. Abdul tracked my flight, we stayed in touch, and he was right there ready to pick me up as we discussed. - Safe -- Abdul is a safe driver. Reasonable speed (not slow but not too fast); no sudden turns; no abrupt braking. It was a smooth ride because he drove well and paid attention. And he was definitely not checking his phone while driving other than to glance at navigation toward the end of the trip once we got deeper into my neighborhood. - Clean and Comfortable -- his car was very comfortable and impeccably clean. He made sure to provide bottled water for his passengers just in case. - Accommodating -- we didn't need to stop, but he let me know upfront that (despite our many hours of delay) he would be happy to make any stops I requested. He also made sure I was comfortable with the temperature and music levels before we got going. When I need a car service again, I am definitely sticking with Abdul.

Always on time - quality service - great drivers -nice car. I use them every time I fly out of Sac…read moreAirport.

The California Zephyr from Colfax, CA to Chicago was a great 2-night trip with an overall good vibe…read morefrom start to finish. The food was genuinely good--nothing felt bad, and while some meals were better than others, the dining experience stayed consistently satisfying. One standout perk was the free alcohol drink each night, which was a nice touch. The dinner desserts were excellent too; the chocolate cake is extremely rich, but I'd strongly recommend the cheesecake. The dining room is one place to adjust your expectations. It's a fun experience if you don't mind sitting with strangers, but the tables are small, so you end up pretty close to whoever you're sharing the table with. And depending on your comfort level, the space across from you can feel a little too tight--especially if you have any social anxiety or are a germaphobe. I understand the constraints of the train, but the tables really could be a bit bigger. The staff, overall, were great. They could be a little abrasive at times, but they were consistently helpful. Some staff made periodic announcements with information and entertainment, which added to the experience. There was also a recurring message about keeping the bathrooms clean, and sometimes it felt more like a lecture than guidance--at least in tone. Even so, the standout for me was Reggie, and I appreciated the effort the team put into keeping things running smoothly. The views were amazing, and there was almost always room to sit in the observation car. I stayed in a roomette, which is basically a step-up-from-closet size, and it works fine as long as you're not claustrophobic. During the day it had two chairs and a fold-out table, which was great for playing cards while watching the scenery. At night, the bed setup takes up almost the entire roomette. The bed itself could be more comfortable, but it was doable--just not enough to help me sleep much. I didn't get much sleep either night. For sleep, the train moves enough to be a factor. The steady squeaking/clanking and rocking didn't keep me awake, but the sudden jolting when the train bumped side to side woke me up multiple times. If you sleep on your back, you'll probably be fine, but if you're a side sleeper like me, you may struggle. Because the train really does move, simple things like walking down the halls and showering weren't easy--especially for my 80-year-old father. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely felt like a bit of an adventure. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My father enjoyed the ride too, but said it was a little too much work for his age.

California Zephyr Chicago-Sacramento, June 15-17, 2026. Train 5, Bedroom 532A. Here's the good -…read morethe staff was super friendly. Our room attendant, Ricky, helped us with bed set up, showed us where bottled water was stashed, and even tried to fix the broken upper birth (see Bad) to no avail. The dining was fine. Train food with the same menu for the duration of the trip. They ran out of a few things along the way (chicken for Caesar salad, for example), but restocked in Denver. The dining car staff was really great - sweet and very patient. Our party of 2 people was seated with another party of 2 every time - there is only one dining car for all the folks so they require you to make a reservation or eat in your room. All we did for two and a half days was look out the window and eat, so really nice that the staff was so sweet! Bad - the room that we paid a lot of money for had a broken bed. I am still trying to convey this to Amtrak customer service (the phone customer service is really UGLY, due to understaffing I think after waiting for someone for over an hour now). So if you are booked into room 532A - get reassigned! We tried to do this but the train was sold out. There is something wrong with paying what we did for the experience and being given no sleep. The rooms themselves are pretty nice - we didn't feel the need to fight for observation car space (there are probably 30 - 40 seats total in observation car with zero time restrictions). Why they don't have more than one observation car for a sold out train is a mystery to me . . . so many Amtrak mysteries. Scenery was outstanding. We met fun people. My carry-on size suitcase did fit on the room's luggage rack. My son brought a backpack. Rooms are so small that it is a huge challenge to change into jammies at night. Will never do this again. Be warned - the Nebraska tracks are very bumpy and the train seems to have made up time at night - hang on! Hi Yelpers! . . . here's a GOOD update, which I'm adding a month later . . . My outreach to Amtrak Customer Service ultimately turned out to be a super positive experience! After sending them a note with photo documentation of our experience, I received a form letter that seemed like no one had read the complaint. I replied to that form letter in a positive manner with same complaint - the upper berth in our bedroom was broken and we got very little sleep on the trip. I detailed this misfortune, including photos, and the very next day received an apology from Amtrak rep and a promise (which was kept!) to refund half of the cost of the trip! They refunded us on our credit card - no voucher for future travel! THANK YOU AMTRAK!!! Probably won't do the trip again, but I wanted to update the experience. I am shocked that we received a refund. Keep the faith folks! :-)
