I called just minutes before closing but he waited the 25 minutes it took me to drive there to see me cat, even though at the time I had never taken a cat to his office. We no longer use Nixa Animal Hospital because we live in NW Springfield and it's too far, but if we ever lived close enough, we absolutely would use her again. I originally started using this vet office since it was close to my apartment, but it was the best decision I made for my senior dog. Dr. Molly had seen both my cat and senior dog. Towards the end of my dog's life, we were taking him every month or two for various issues. He had been a stray for who knows how long and had a lot of issues. He had cancer and several issues with his organs and teeth. Dr. Molly helped us make his final days comfortable until the time had come to put him to sleep. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but she assured us that it was the right one and treatment would have failed. She was so respectful of us and our baby, and I would recommend her to anyone. She was also great with our cat, but she only saw her a few times for annual vaccinations. This is my favorite vet clinic!

I took him in and they stated they gave him fluids because he was dehydrated, did X-Rays to see if something was stuck in his digestive track, and gave him nausea medicine. They claimed he was perfectly fine just a "stomach bug" and sent him home with a $303 vet bill. Its been 3 days since they saw him.. he is still dehydrated, wont eat or drink, and MISERABLE. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It seemed like they were more concerned about making money then actually getting my cat better. He is in the same shape as he was when I first took him in if not worst. I truly question if the vet knows anything about cats.
