Whenever we needed assistance, she often rolled her eyes or made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. During my grandmother's two-week stay, she wandered out of her room without our knowledge. At that point, Annie told us that a family member would have to stay with my grandmother 24/7, which we did not believe was an appropriate or acceptable solution. It felt like we had to fight to get even basic care and assistance for my grandmother. When our requests were finally addressed, they were often met with a rude attitude. We also spoke with the director, Gloria McGinnis, regarding our concerns. Unfortunately, we felt that our concerns were not taken seriously, and no meaningful effort was made to address the way some staff members interacted with patients and their families. On a positive note, Blue and Rhonda provided outstanding care. They were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about my grandmother's health and well-being. We are very grateful for the kindness they showed her. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this facility to families seeking compassionate, respectful care for their loved ones.
