They were diligent, and communicated clearly. The installation went smoothly, with a perfect fit and finish in all four bathrooms. This was all done at a very reasonable price. That being said, stone countertops are an improvement meant to be appreciated for many years. Our countertops are just gorgeous and I know their beauty will return a lifetime of pleasure. This is my first pool, so I came into this pretty uneducated and Shane was very patient with me during the entire project, explaining the process and what to expect. He is an extremely experienced pool builder and beyond professional and responsive. He makes you feel like you're the only customer he has and follows through even after the pool build is finished. If you want a high-quality gorgeous pool, you must hire this company. Builder Selection Shane and his staff were extremely patient as I tried to align the very differing proposals, breaking costs down as I requested. His proposal was easy to understand and was straightforward, not hiding costs in various categories as most of the other builders did. I felt I got a very fair estimate. While their proposal was not the lowest, I chose them because I felt very comfortable with Shane, his knowledge and he's just an overall really nice guy. Another reason I chose them was because he was the only builder to submit the design to our HOA without my even asking! He kept me informed as the process with them progressed. Design I already had a pool design done by another builder but wanted to get estimates from other builders. I called five and Shane was the first to to respond. We met that week and I was very impressed by his professionalism. He looked at our design, asked really good questions about the pool and how we thought we would use it. He also made some suggestions that had to do with the actual usability of the pool. He took the paper based plans and some screen shots and recreated the design using his own pool design software. We had several design meetings either at his office or at my home. He patiently tweaked the details as well as the bigger things until we were satisfied with the design and the materials. Build Shane managed this project like clockwork and the only time the progress slowed down was due to weather. He kept me informed of who was coming when and what was expected to be accomplished in that given time. His contractors were very skilled, polite and was respectful of our property. The project wasn't trouble free by any means but at each step, Shane oversaw the work being done, making changes either at my request or because he wasn't satisfied. None of which were charged to us. Shane and his staff were so responsive to all of my questions, concerns and me calling him and telling him that one of the pool walls wasn't being done to design, he stopped the work and redid it to design. There's so much more to write but that would make this review too long to want to read. Our pool is amazing and we're extremely happy with the result. Also I didn't feel that once the pool was finished Shane would disappear. In fact, he's still very responsive when we have a question or trouble with the equipment. I would highly recommend Capital! Shane and his staff are honest, knowledgeable, demand high quality from the contractors and I can't say enough about their responsiveness.

After pulling them from the ground and setting them aside, we realized we could see about repurposing them. Low and behold, Texas Urban Sawmill came out to our ranchette, loaded them onto their special truck, and hauled them off to Texas Urban Sawmill. As requested, they sliced each tree trunk longways in about 2 1/2 inch boards/slabs. They are BEAUTIFUL! After we let them airdry on our property for about two years (Devin explained every detail on how to do it) we are hoping to make some furniture, including a live-edge dining room table. If we find we are not skilled enough (we've never made one before) or just want a more professionally made table, we will definitely take a couple of the slabs back to Texas Urban Sawmill to have them make it. If you want your trees repurposed, be sure to call Devin and the Texas Urban Sawmill. He is very professional and easy to work with. He is very giving of his time, knowledge, and is the most collaborative of the 3 Architects we have used on the 2 other custom homes we have built. As an example, even before we signed a contract he made multiple site visits to give us his friendly professional insight about several lots we were considering before we selected the property we ultimately purchased. He was extremely accommodating and friendly throughout the entire process. Collaboration is his priority from the beginning and he made it very convenient through the use of screen share as we designed the home together. We were really impressed with the architectural 3D model that Daniel created. It was amazing that we were able to have a computer-generated 3D model to visualize the complete exterior as well as the outdoor entertaining, outdoor kitchen, and the pool and spa area. We were able to have the majority of our meetings in the evenings after we got off work and we even did a screen share to collaborate on our laptop while we were out of town visiting family. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about both the architectural and contractual aspects of building, but he seems to have a great instinct for what the client is looking achieve. He also had the desire to study alternatives and create several layouts that might make the most sense for the lifestyle we described. Our custom home is amazing and we would definitely recommend him to our friends. Instrumental in our smooth building process was Daniel's custom home building budget that he accurately laid out from the beginning giving us many options and associated costs.
