He told me we needed to jump on getting this case heard because my ex was on felony probation and it was set to expire. The sense of urgency was pressed. I told him i was referred to him by a mom group and wanted to work with him and he gave me his card with phone # for texting and email. after the first day he stopped replying to texts and emails. After weeks with no reply i called the office to find out why. They said another lady would help me since dustin was not replying . Charlotte started helping but after she said she submitted for us to have mediation more weeks passed and still no mediation date. I wrote her and asked what was going on and she said the clerk never submitted it so she would try again. Had I not messaged her I can only assume it would have been more weeks before they would have even noticed. Mediation was not successful and so we would be going to court. I was told charlotte would probably be the one to come to court instead of Dustin which is who i hired . I expressed this was not acceptable and was told Dustin would write me and he did not. More Weeks passed and still not court date set up and no reply from dustin about him coming to court w me . Sadly this whole process took over 5 months ( still no court date ) and my ex OD I write charlotte to say my ex OD and ask for my $ back ( not all of it , just what wasn't used ) as my ex OD there would be no trial. The response Dustin sent was "the hours would be here should any custody issues arise in the future" . My children's father had passed , i wouldn't have custody issues in the future.after a few emails he says oh if your exes family sues for custody but I know it was a jab . I tell him this is upsetting and he sends a text screen shot from opposing counsel suggesting it was my fault my ex OD ( calling me a POS , saying i refused phone calls to my ex which wasn't true ) . This was days after they passed. Very unprofessional to send that to me, very insensitive to tell me I could use the hours ( many many many hours as i paid 5000$) for custody issues later down the road for a parent who is passed. If you hire dustin he will hand the case to charlotte ( who i can find NO reviews on her background, and no recommendations ) , things will be delayed delayed delayed , and if someone passes not even the bare min of decency will be given . I gave him a chance to return the $ as I had to take a loan to even pay it. He could have done the right thing after delaying the case and not responding to texts and emails and knowing there would be no trial. I hope someone sees this and will be wise and use someone else. If you want your case to be taken seriously and handled with respect please use someone else.
