However, my credit card was used in connection with this matter without my authorization, and I am currently disputing charges exceeding $3,000. The messages included allegations of fraud and statements indicating they would pursue criminal complaints if the chargebacks were not reversed immediately. Dismissed in 3 months When faced with a possible misdemeanor I started looking for a reputable attorney. McCready failed me 100% I hired him based off of his reviews.. and his aggressiveness over the phone when I first called. I should have paid attention to the small details.. like his office having no furniture just a few boxes of papers. And every time I went in there to pay him..he had a different front desk girl.. all those fake reviews most def had people lining up because of their desperate situations with the court system. Mc greedy was doing a COVID special for $6k up front or $7.5k over 3 months. I unfortunately had to pay the extra 1500 over 3 months, and believe me he hounded me for the last payment sending me text messages late at night etc. He got all his money and as long as my weak case was dismissed and I kept a clean record, ide be okay with paying him. But that's not what happened. The case lasted a year which is understandable with the long beach court system. But I didn't get any breaks whatsoever with having him appear for me. They showed him very little respect in that court room.. It was a burglary charge, that was a misunderstanding. I even had the person that was with me at this supposed burglary coming to court with me every time because he was a witness and knew it was wrong. Long story short, at my arainment I was offered a year in county. And a felony. With McCready after he had relieved himself from council because I would not go to trial with him, my offer was at 2 years. 7 grand alot of stress and and a year later and a worse offer. I wound up with the same public defender I began with..and after the public defender mentioned getting a letter written from my current employer. As well as the letters that he had no idea about that McCready never submitted to him from my passed employers. I got no jail time and summary probation. But like I said McCready left me hanging with a prison term. I would never recommend him. He took my money and got me a worse deal. read more
