I placed a order and drove to the restaurant to pick it up at the drive-thru. When I gave the code at the speaker, staff stated they did not have my order in their system. At the window, I showed the order confirmation screen (including the order code and item list) as well as proof of payment, but employees still refused to prepare the order. After several minutes of trying to resolve the issue, the drive-thru window was closed on me while I was still speaking. I was ultimately forced to cancel the order. This occurred around midnight while I was trying to get food for my daughter, which made the situation especially frustrating. This was not a case of a missing order on my end I had full confirmation and proof of payment. The issue was a failure in either the system or how staff handled the situation. I expect better handling of paid mobile orders, especially when clear proof is provided. read more

Well for starters I was trying to get our nieces & nephews some breakfast from here as a treat. We did an online order hoping everything would be right more so because when you go through the drive thru and ask for a sweet tea, they'll give you an apple pie... so anyways we did our online order, ordered one of the kids the BACON breakfast hot cake plate and got sausage instead. We ordered one of the kids ( 2 ) egg and cheese biscuits and an orange juice , they forgot the orange juice.. okay we then check the bag for the egg and cheese biscuits and they're missing.. they pretty much made it seem like we were just trying to get free biscuits etc. we take the bags and both online receipt and paper receipt from the bag in to the manager nice and respectfully like we were told to do.. and by the time we got done arguing with the manager for 30 mins , we left with what was supposed to be 2 egg and cheese MCMUFFINS because they apparently didn't have anymore biscuits.. we then get home after trusting that they could manage that... and the McMuffins end up being nothing but sausage.. so in replacement of the 2 egg and cheese BISCUITS that we paid for at 9:00 am we got 2 sausage McMuffins.. the kids ate it obviously and shared their food with each other.. being the kind, caring , respectful kids they are but was it all worth $50 ? Nope.. never again will we be coming to this McDonald's. I'm not usually one for reviews but this place is just out of control. It's literally every time you go to this McDonald's. They're so rude & careless. You order a fry, they're going to give you a cookie instead just because they feel like it. You order 40 chicken nuggets for 4 kids to share and they give 2 sauces and you ask for more, they're gonna make it seem like you're trying to rob them or something. It's ridiculous. We would have 100% just left and never had thought twice if we didn't already pay $50 and had the kids all hyped up for the treat! We understand it's not always going to be perfect, humans have bad days, businesses get busy.. but this McDonald's is beyond those measures. Constantly messing up my order and I have to wait a while it's so annoying and stupid.

This is a culmination of two separate visits: one a couple weeks ago that was subpar but not terrible, and today where terrible doesn't do how bad it was justice. Without further ado, the experiences! Couple weeks ago, showed up while headed out to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and it was close and fast, so why not, right? First, all the kiosks in the store don't work. Second, there's no organization of the actual line in store. Third, management is rude. But the food was decent for McDonald's, so I let it be. Now, tonight: kid likes fries, and I figure I'll order her some (and a couple drinks) on our way home. Knowing they always have a backed up drive thru, I order in-store pickup, walk up to the door (at about 6:30pm)...and it's LOCKED!!!! (Yes, they charged me for the order already, but locked the door.). So, I end up waiting in the drive thru...and when I get up there, explain what happened (to rude management and service), to be told to go park and wait. Park and wait I do, and eventually they bring out my COLD fries...and the wrong drinks. I'll never come back. read more

Went through the drive thru for a happy meal with extra fries. Got home, got kids out of car seats and upstairs, washed hands and went to the table. No extra fries, not even a kids fries. There were about 6 sad little fries in the bottom of the box. I got the kids back into the car, allowing them to eat their nuggets while I called ahead to let them know. I was allowed to pull to the front of the drive thru to get them. No apology, no extra fries, no anything. Just a small fry, lots of napkins and here.....really. Ordered curbside through the app and waited 45 minutes for my food. Nobody came out so I decided to go through the drive though. Another 20 minute wait. I was then told that "we can't go outside to do curbside". I bet you can guess what happened next, yet another hellacious wait. After waiting for almost an hour and a half, I was greeted with what I thought was my order. The order was incorrect and sloppily thrown in the bag. To add insult to injury, the food was cold and the drink was warm. To sum it up, I've decided to adopt a calf since it would be quicker to raise that calf to maturity and make my own food, rather than waiting for a millennia in that damn drive thru to get the correct order. I'll leave an update letting everyone know how the calf is doing and if anyone else has the same experience, I'll make you a burger to save you the burden of that drive thru. read more

So, here's how stupid I am: I first came to this McDonald's when I moved here a month ago, to grab breakfast on the run amidst errands. I didn't check the bag when they handed it to me, and a mile down the road, I realized they had screwed up my order. Today, I grabbed lunch there, and once again, they screwed up my order. This time I went inside and made them fix it. This is the WORST McDonald's in the history of the corporation. DO NOT eat here. I'm DUMBFOUNDED. The big dude working late last night (with a tiny shache, rolls on the back of his buzzed head, and a 55 logo McD shirt) was eating with his fingers, as he was serving customers. I do not eat much fast food anymore, but McDonalds has always had the best french fries.I haven't been in for lunch in ages. I do sometimes get a sausage biscuit for breakfast. So had a craving for french fries, really bad one. I ordered a large fry, $2.69. I was shocked when I looked in the bag, my fry box was only half full. This has never happened to me before. This McDonald's is terrible. The food is fine- typical McDonald's- but the service (or lack of) is so bad! Every single time we've been there it has taken forever to get our order! I'm talking 20ish minutes here. It's always crowded because there's usually only 1 or 2 people working the counter. The employees seem very unhappy too, and last time we were there, the manager on duty was yelling at every employee there. It was so unprofessional and I felt bad for the employees. So, if you've got 20-30 minutes to waste on waiting around for food, if recommend going anywhere else but here. One of the worst in town. The employees are not attentive and I'm pretty sure they get upset when you ask for a half sweet half unsweetened tea. They messed up in my order I said " I'm sorry would you mind making that half cut" as they call it there. He went around the corner and came back. I left the drive thru and when I got to my destination tried the yes I believe he added extra sugar to it. It was in drinkable. Also the food that day was old and dry. The cheese in the burger had turned a dark color like it had been sitting around for a while. Also the drive through cash person was listening to a sports game in his ear buds when I went through. I know that McDonald's May not be the most glorious place to work. But please be thankful you have a job. So many people don't. Travel to other countries and you will see how much you have even if you don't have much at all. Slow. Not slow for a McDonalds, but slow for any fast food place. Just to paint a picture of how slow it was... My mother cut her finger while ordering. I walked to our car, got her a bandage, walked back and gave it to her. She went to the restroom, cleaned her hand up and the food was still not ready. It was not busy, and we had a simple order. On top of that, they prepared her order incorrectly. Also, this McDonald's has one of the worst fly infestations of any place I've seen. If I were you, I'd go down to exit 6 off of I-240 instead to a better McDonalds. Or you could go to the Burger King right beside it. read more

I wouldn't even give this place one star. We ordered burgers and had to sit there for 15 minutes at the number 1 pull up stop. We watched one worker buy weed and another go smoke a cig. Then, we went back through the drive thru and the worker told us our food had been ready and sitting inside and insisted we take it. We even had to argue with the manager for our refund. Another OK McD's, with a slightly odd layout, but friendly staff. It was efficient and clean - about what you should expect from this chain. The drive thru line backups can block the Handicapped parking, and some of the frantic shopper-moms are too focused on texting to let you out. read more
