Common as common can be. Nothing wrong with my chicken burger, but it also was nothing special…read more This BurgerFuel location is on a busy Customs Street, and can be crowded during lunch. We gave it a try, as it seemed pretty popular here. All the tables were pretty much occupied. The tables were small and wooden with little stools to sit on.
I ordered the Burnout ($12.70): This consisted of a char-grilled chicken breast with bacon, lettuce, avocado, mustard, aioli sauce, and a stilton sauce. The breast was kinda thin, but the bun was pretty huge. It was a soft sesame seed bun that actually held up quite well. It did get kind of messy halfway through eating it, but we were told by one of the workers about how this little cardboarthing called the Doofer. This doofer was an intuitive piece of cardboard that you fold up, and it cradles your burger. Pretty cool, as it totally helped out.
No issues with service. The girl behind the counter was humorous and cordial. She was even the one that explained how a doofer is used.
Would I come back? Yes, probably just to try a different burger. But the next time I've got that "burger craving", I probably won't be thinking about this place in particular.
