Anyways, I didn't have reservations. The guy at the door turned us away and said they couldn't accommodate us. Which surprised me because the place looked empty. We ordered nachos and a burrito GSB. The nachos were chips topped with salsa, beans, sour cream, guacamole, and nacho cheese. The burrito GSB was honestly very similar to a 7-Layer/Veggie Fiesta burrito but had a different kick to it. Trying taco bell in Spain was definitely worth the one time experience but it's nothing like the states.

I didn't finish my meal, and I am renowned for doing that even when I'm not keen. To its credit, the branch was quick, efficient, and clean, and the staff were very friendly. But next time, I think I'll just buy an Old El Paso kit - it'd be significantly tastier and a fraction of the price!

Visiting other countries, when possible, I like to try chains to experience the regional items that aren't offered at home. So, one morning, my friend and I took a walk out towards the beach to the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to. And I've been to more than I can count all around the world. I know this is funny to hear considering I really don't eat fast food. So, now you know more about me. The location is right across the beach. It's so close you can see the sand and water. If the waves were crashing on the shore, you'd hear it too. There's both indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy the scenery if you like. And there's enough seating on two levels that you could be there and still feel like you're eating there alone. Not only was this the nicest and cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to, the service was top-notch. You can order on kiosks or in person. And I can't speak for every day, but the day my friend and I visited, there was an English speaking person there who made ordering for me a breeze. Even the staff who didn't speak English was friendly, helpful and patient. Food was made and served fresh and quick. Here's where I'd be telling you to go see my pics but I guess I didn't post them on Yelp. You'd have to go to my other social media site to find them. I feel the food was standard though it's hard for me to say because I don't eat McDonald's regularly enough to be able to give a fair comparison. I can say, it was good enough that I ate it all. And bonus, I didn't get sick. Now, we walked there so I didn't look for parking but I did see a drive thru. And as far as whether I'd go back, though it was a positive review, I have to say no because I've already been there and done that.

**December 2022: Friday, Late Morning Visit**…read more This is probably one of the nicest McDonald's I've ever visited. First off it's two stories and the patio overlooks the beach/ocean. Second, it's extremely clean and has new furnishings. The food is fine. I mean it's fast food though they do have some regional items. On my visit they had different flavor french fries (you basically buy the seasonings and shake it with the fries) as well as dessert McFlurry items. I think if you wanted to grab a coffee and read the paper on the patio this would be an amazing (and inexpensive) place to do it! Ba-da-ba-ba-bam... I'm lovin' it!

It's hard to believe that I've lived next door to this place for more than three years now, and I…read morehaven't eaten there until now. If not for the covid virus, how much longer would I keep passing it by? We decided to take a day off from our kitchen, opting for takeout. Their 'menu al dia' (€15.50) was both delicious and utterly satisfying. Their Russian Salad was terrific. A virtual staple in Catalan restaurants, their version was topped with bonito, avocado and hard boiled egg... and a herb that I could not identify, but was an excellent complement to the flavors. My wife's Escalivada was a treat. A sumptuous slab of gently grilled goat cheese topped it all... words fail me. It was THAT good. For our second plate, we each had a burger. Not an American burger, mind you... This was a 200 gram Angus beef patty, perfectly grilled (Al punt), with the thinnest slice of cheese melted on top, and surrounded by grilled padron peppers. What a blend of flavors! My dessert was (allegedly) carrot cake. I *love* carrot cake with cream cheese icing, but this was not it. What I got looked to be closer to red velvet cake (with a subdued color), but it was both delicious and satisfying... so I chose not to drop a star from my review. My wife's cheesecake, topped with a blueberry compote, was delicious and what you would expect. The house red wine complemented the meal nicely. All in all, a very satisfying meal.
