Rude employee, slow service. I ordered 2 separate orders of the same thing. I explained they were going to 2 separate people. They said, McDonald's won't let us use 2 bags when we are busy, WHAT?????. They told us to pull-up and wait for our 1 bag order. Over 21 minutes later I went inside and ask why it was taking so long. They told me they gave my order to someone else. They would fix it now. Even the Manager acted as though she was overwhelmed with her job. Ordered on the app for table service and people who came in after ius got their food before we did. We didn't have anything special or unusual. Server forgot the drink. Then we went to get ketchup but it's not working, so back to the counter to ask for some. The only wall art they have is a big plaque of the ten commandments. Mc Donald's is a disaster first I go to the line with took 30-40 minutes and then the lady ask for what I want and she said does the screen look correct I said yes then she gave me someone else's food and thankfully that other person came in there and you don't want to know........ The manager said that it's the right order and we said no it ain't and after a few minutes we wanted our money back but they were sooooo stupid that they did let us give our food back to the manager but they didnt give our money back and said your gonna have to reorder!!! It's a McDonald's. They make garbage to stuff in your face to make the hunger and/or sadness go away for a few hours. You might get heartburn, nausea, indigestion, upset stomach, and/or diarrhea. Get some pepto or something, I don't know. It's Mickey D's, fam. That being said, this here Beaver Dam, KY McD's is a good one. Probably the best I've beem to outside of Japan. Occasionally I get a mcdouble that tastes like it was cooked by a drunk uncle getting crazy with the salt and the propane. About 20% of the time, I get mcchickens with the chunky part of the lettuce and it tastes unnervingly similar to celery, but I can look past that because bro, it's McDonald's. Good place. Solid. Definitely the kind of burger joint that can make people question why others say all McDonald's joints suck. You get what you pay for here, and that's fairly warm calories with just enough flavor and meat to make ramen humble about its role in the broke young adult's diet. Strong 4/5. Not 5/5. You don't get perfect Mcdonald's without the glory of the shrimp patty sandwich of Japan. read more

It's hard to be unbiased against McDonalds. But I'll try. Let me first say I have a young son. That's why I come here. When he's grown, I'll not be back. This site is no worse than usual, but customer service in the fast food industry as a whole is trying. I came here today to get my son a happy meal for a Friday afternoon treat. My son like a lot of kids loves everything plain. No condiments or cheese. I ordered a( exact words) double hamburger meal plain with a sprite. Sounds simple. But it was wrong. Cheese. Always cheese! I park in the number three spot to the right and make the walk of shame in the building to have it corrected. After waiting for 3 or 4 mins for the two managers to finish what they were talking about to turn around and notice me, one finally comes over to assist me. She reads the tag and then proceeds to start lecturing me on how I ordered wrong! Telling me I should have requested no cheese! On a hamburger! This went back and forth for a few shameful mins till I finally just asked for my replacement. After receiving it, I walked back to my truck and decided to send a text out before I started driving. I kid you not, they sent a girl to my truck to ask me to leave! I was parked in one of the "line taking too long" spaces and they needed the space. The number 2 beside me was empty. The number 4 had a van in it that was empty. That my Yelp friends was my families very last trip to Beaver Dam McDonalds. Thankfully my son likes Dairy Queen. read more
