I absolutely love this place. We are visiting from Out of town (used to live here). I'm sort of a coffee snob but not really lol. Anywho the coffee quality, the ambiance and the customer service was top tier. I had no idea what I wanted but the ladies were so patient with us and made excellent reccomendations. The drink tasted so good the caramel brûlée and cinnamon roll. The price point was very reasonable. The ambiance I enjoyed also. My husband and I were in town visiting some friends and family and stumbled across this cute little coffee shop. We were shocked it wasn't more crowded on a Saturday morning! The vibes are eclectic. It is a little dark but matches their esthetic of a mix of old and new furniture. We tried their holiday menu. The cinnamon roll latte was delicious and tasted just like a cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing. We also split their sunrise sandwich with ham which was a good bite as well. Overall we would highly recommend checking this cute little dove out. Their menu is extensive and they have rotating seasonal drinks that look fun to try. Maybe it's just me working in healthcare but I'm always thinking about safety. It takes longer for your eyes to adjust as you get older and I don't want anyone to trip, fall, etc. That's just me! Today I went to the Creme coffee house It was pretty good! The place is cozy and has two rooms! I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant add avocado! On a scale from 1-10 I give it a 8 the only fault was the egg was stone cold almost like it came out of the freezer and went straight on the sandwich. I also got a iced mango tea it was pretty good just a little to much like black tea to me. The service was good except there was only one waitress and lots of people coming in! Visited this coffee house with my sister (who is a local) and my mother for a coffee and a little place to relax but instead it was completely the opposite. The treatment from the owner who also took our order was utterly pathetic. We were served lukewarm coffee and we asked if she could heat it up. She didn't even respond. When my mom mentioned to my sister that the coffee was not hot as she was waiting for her order, the owner gave us the nastiest look and said, "I'll warm it up". She proceeded to make a new pot of coffee, slamming things around displaying such a horrible attitude. So sad, we wanted to like this place. I can't imagine she'll be in business long if this is how she treats her customers :( read more

Parking is tricky. We ordered and six people got theirs before us, only when we asked they said they dropped it. Dropped it, so you decided to say forget that, move on to the next. No, that is not what you do, you remake it then. Ughhh! It was decent and immediately drinkable, they left the whipped cream off. Desert was over the top out of the case cold cinnamon roll filled with a lot of cinnamon for a cinnamon roll. Luckily it was not a bitter cinnamon. Decor and charm made it fun. read more

So unique and eclectic! Love these one of a kind gems! In Owensboro for the night, We had a group dinner at Mellow Mushroom then decided to come here for dessert and coffee. I got the Campfire latte, hubs got the Carmello, and baby girl got a smoothie. Lattes were not a hot as I'd like, but definitely delicious and super flavorful. Smoothie was perfect! We also tried the lava cake and lemon cream pie. The lava cake was okay, hot at least and the pie was good, unique twist as it was like a fluff rather than a custard/cream. The quality of coffee/espresso has gone to a negative factor recently. We were frequent patrons, but the last time we were there, I took my espresso, which had no Crema and was horribly bitter and two other coffee drinks. We went back up and set them on the counter. My daughter used her free drink and basically gave it back because it was so bad. Hopefully they can turn things around. read more

This used to be my favorite coffee shop when I lived in Owensboro, but I didn't really enjoy the taste of the coffee. I returned recently and the coffee they have now was really yummy! OMG! I LOVE this place! If you come to Owensboro, you have to come here. It is so cute, has great food and drinks, and has the nicest staff. Even the restroom is super cute. The decorations are really cute and eclectic with big, unique comfy chairs, lots of different sitting areas, and even an outdoor patio. There is so much to look at, it could take all day. The ceiling is the original tin ceiling from the old building and they have exposed brick walls. They have a huge variety of food and drinks. Their specials today were pulled pork nachos and a pulled pork sandwich. The drinks include coffee beverages, lemonade, smoothies, and things I've never heard of. I had the lemon bar and coffee. Both were good. The staff were so nice and super accommodating. I will be back tomorrow! read more

My boyfriend & I are staying in Owensboro for a few days for business & I knew I was going to find a cute little coffee shop. I sure as heck did!! To be honest I'm normally a little skeptical with local coffee shops because from my experience, they can be a little uppity & arrogant at times, especially regarding questions with what to order & whatnot. HOWEVER, this place was incredible. It had a home-y vibe while still being eclectic & cool. The lady who helped us at the front was so sweet & kind, she recommended the iced honeybee latte & I looooved it. My boyfriend also said that his chai was awesome. We even got invited to trivia night! It's really cool to find a nice little hangout spot when you're visiting a new place. I was eager to try our The Creme while in town this morning. Some good things about this little joint is the eclectic ambiance. I loved the vibes in here..seems like a nice place to do some homework, read a book or sit down and have a coffee and bagel or muffin with some girlfriends. The menu items were very interesting and a large selection of different coffee drinks..lots of the descriptions appealed to me. The bad...parking. It took me 15 mins to find parking on Friday morning to even get inside. Also....price. This is a really cool coffee house! My husband and I are in town for a wedding and the coffee provided by our hotel was not good! We set out to find a cool coffee shop and ended up here! I got the honey bee latte and my husband had the camp fire. Both were awesome! The atmosphere is really cool and relaxed. We spend about an hour just hanging out and drinking our coffee. Wonderful Coffee shop I've been in a few times now when I visit KY. Plenty of unique options are what I often look for in a Coffee shop, and this place doesn't disappoint. The Creme Coffee House was suggested to me by a couple of college-aged Owensboro natives. Looking for a light lunch and a good cup of coffee, I decided to visit. The decor is very eclectic and funky. While it seems like a perfect spot for those college-aged students I mentioned before, I saw variety of people stop in during my visit. The menu of drinks is not the largest I've seen at coffee shops, but it's far from short. A variety of drinks are available, including seasonal drinks (I opted for one of these on my visit--a s'mores espresso.). There is a small selection of sandwiches as well and a few other food offerings (like scones and breakfast). My s'mores drink was delicious, and my panini hit the spot for the light lunch for which I was looking. The free (and easy to access) wi-if was great as well. I will definitely plan on visiting next time I am in town. If you're looking for a nice coffee shop to spend some time, check it out. There are also tables outside and in the back as well, I believe (which would be nice for a pretty day). read more

I had never been to Owensboro so I didn't entirely know what to expect of the trip. Once I had spent some time in the area, this little coffee shop is exactly what I imagined it would be. The inside is unique and quirky with all sorts of old-timey looking decorations and seating. A large chalkboard menu behind the bar gives you full details of all of the drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they even had an explanation of what goes into a latte, cappuccino, etc. I got a drink called the honeybee which I really enjoyed, and my friend got a drink (I can't remember the name) that I believe was a chocolate and white chocolate latte. Both of really enjoyed the drinks- I'll like anything with honey in it. We also got a breakfast cookie which was oatmeal and cinnamon. It tasted something like a gingerbread cookie with oats in it. I liked it, but it will leave your mouth dry without a drink. Overall, a pleasant experience at this place. The baristas were friendly, good drinks, and cute decorations as well. If I'm ever back in the area I'm sure I'll give it another visit. read more
